This unique hotel is located steps from the harbor and history of Bergen. The layout of the rooms in several attached old structures is rambling and quirky, which we liked. Our room was nicely wood paneled but the slope of the floor might not appeal to everyone. A little more shabby than chic right now but the charming rooms and location make your stay a personal experience. Delicous scrambled eggs and other treats for breakfast.

The hallways were packed with unused furniture, which they should just put in storage. Breakfast was a standard Norwegian buffet breakfast, tasty as usual, but nothing special.

Really nice room, super quick check in, no vouchers for anything (silver membership), although not sure where i would have used them at the moment. Nice breakfast, good eggs. Would be a good idea for them to put foam tape round the window seals as people hollaring outside woke me a few times way too easily, but im just being picky.

"Cosy home from home!"

Second time we have stayed here in the last month. As the world is shut we decided to be tourists in our own city and this hotel is right in the centre. A wonderful building with an amazing and truly unique layout !!!

"Charming gem in historical settings"

Outstandingly charming and historical boutique hotel on Bryggen - the old, scenic wharf in central Bergen. Staff is professional, courteous and pleasant, rooms are clean, quiet and superbly decorated. Location is 10/10 - breakfast is continental and tasty. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel next to the harbour and full of historic character. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. and the breakfast was fantastic. We'd definitely stay again.

What a fantastic hotel in an amazing location. The hotel was quirky with such attention to detail. Beautiful furnishings and comfortable restful rooms. The staff were kind helpful and informative and genuine. It was such a fabulous stay we sre coming back in the summer
