Det Hanseatiske Hotel

Nice hotel, excellent location and restaurant. However little value for the rate paid compared to other hotels in the area. We booked a deluxe room which showed to be was under the standard advertised on the hotel's website.

This is an excellent property. It was a historic building with very modern amenities such as a safe, a mini bar, an excellent bathroom with an exquisite footed bath tube and state of the art shower and hair dryer. The location was beyond convenient. Wonderful restaurant. Couldn’t ask for more. Loved it!!

Wonderful blend of new and old. Confusing floorplan!

Impassive front-desk clerks, romantic but a lot of outside noise.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean and modern. this is an old building and the room just felt musty/dusty. It was very dark and hard to get fresh air in. It had a bad smell, maybe from proximity to harbor or old pipes.

Great location for city, harbour and transportation.

1) Greatest check-in possible: We exchanged hellos, gave my name, was given the keys, that's it. No documents, no form filling, barely no computer typing. I am actually surprised how they did it. 2) Great location, near Brygges, but also near the more modern part. 3) I felt comfortable. So it must have been a good hotel and good staff and service.

The building has a lot of character, from the rooms, to the lobby to the restaurant.

Great little historic hotel. Loved the breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
