Casa Cranta Hotel

Great hotel with lovely views. Room was large with a balcony. Bathtub even had jets! Easy walk into the heart of the Brasov with lots of restaurants and sights. Very friendly staff! I plan to go back and use this as a base to explore more of Transylvania.

Friendly hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms. Located in a quiet neighborhood that is <10 min walk to the heart of old town.

Not in the historic center, but not a terrible walk. Older hotel. No lift with 3 floors. Breakfast just ok. Not much parking.

Clean, comfortable. Great location, 10 minute walk to center of Old Town. Fabulous staff. Took an all day tour, and airport transportation with Ionut/John. Great english, nice, honest, responsible guy. Breakfast was wonderful, made to order + buffet. If we ever go to Brasov again, we will definitely stay at Casa Cranta, no question.

Hotel was very well located within walking distance of really nice areas of Brasov. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay and were great about communicating on travel opportunities within the area. Overall a great stay.

We loved this quaint hotel. It was set up on a hill and had a beautiful view of Tampa Mountain. It was so enjoyable to eat breakfast outside on the terrace with this scenery. The staff was always attentive and friendly. The hotel does not have an elevator, but I thought this added to their charm. We only had less than a 10 minute walk to pedestrian area of Brasov. Would highly recommend this hotel if you enjoy quaint properties. Only suggestion - bring own alarm clock because you are not be able to receive a wake-up call.

Excellent hotel with lovely staff. Our apartment was spacious with lovely mountain views, had large dining room and spacious bedroom. Balcony was lovely to sit on at night and had nice views of the mountain. Decorated with nice wooden furniture appropriate to the hotel. Room had jacuzzi and air con which helped as during our stay it was very hot. Has nice garden with table to eat, drink and relax outside. The food on the two nights we eat in the hotel was very nice. The hotel is also near to the town centre (5 min walk) but is off any main roads, so quiet at night. Car park small but staff helped park on road outside on one night we could not park in the hotel car park.

Most probably last renovation was made 40 years ago. Its very very dirty, the furniture its....no comment! Maybe they have one room renovated and using Photos like standard for all hotel.....Its a hotel for 2 stars, max 3 stars somewhere in 1980. Its a shame, as the area and villa its perfect to made the best hotel in Brasov.
