Casa Cranta Hotel

Lovely clean nice hotel. pleasent staff. Stayed in a triple room with balcony with wonderful views of the old town and hill. Took up the offer of seeing castle bran, the Roman fort and Peles palace which was very reasonably priced. will defiantly stay there again.

I booked with breakfast included they decided to tell me that breakfast is not included I had to show them my reservation lt is unacceptable a situation like this

Great little hotel. Breakfast was limited and room awfully warm but overall a great stay.

The hotel is a charming example of Romanian architecture with a real old feel to it. Silence and calmness is guaranteed as is a good nightssleep as the sound does not come through the walls or door. The room and bathroom are very clean and you get a complimentary apple and two bottles of water. The furniture in the room gives it an old world feel and the breakfast in the morning is excellent buffet style including cornflakes, youghurts, cheeses and bread, olives and you can even order eggs. The downside is that the hotel was difficult to locate at night and you have to go through a no entry sign and then go sharply uphill to gain access easily.

Beautiful rooms, great location, nice staff! The room had hardwood floors, beautiful wooden beams, beautiful windows. Just a gorgeous, comfortable room. Great service from front desk and housekeeping. Best hotel ever! Within walking distance from Brasov town center. 35 minute walk to the train station.

Atmospheric hotel, just slightly out of main tourist area. Not suitable for anyone with a disability as up a steep stretch of hill and no lift inside. Good views from our 3rd floor room but aircon not working and was not fixed the whole of our four day stay. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was buffet style. We are not early risers and on a couple of mornings the selection was a bit sparse. Eggs available if requested. We were offered organised "private" transport to different attractions but were able to negociate with a local taxi driver for a quarter of what was quoted by the hotel.

We stayed in the Luxury Apartment and it was wonderful! Views from the balcony were fantastic. The antique furnishings and huge living/dining room made it very luxurious and memorable. Truly one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed!! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They can help you set up tours and transportation in the area. The hotel is an easy walk to downtown Brasov, lots of great bars and restaurants in addition to the tourist sites. Loved our stay, wish we could have stayed longer!!

My husband and I had booked the basic room at casa cranta and we were very impressed with how spacious it was. We loved the little extra touches i.e. Shoe cleaning kit and bathrobes/slippers along with the fruit and water provided daily. The breakfast choice was sufficient, however, we enjoyed the hot breakfast made to order. We were particularly impressed by how helpful the staff were booking our transfers and providing a tour guide service. we have never travelled to Brasov before but I can honestly say it was a fantastic holiday. If you want something a bit different, a place of historical interest and with lots to do at reasonable prices then Brasov could be for you. Our favourite bits were the bear watching experience, a tour of the castles and one evening at Oktoberfest 😃

Close to the tourist interest area of Brasov but in quiet neighborhood. Lovely rooms and breakfast. Recommendations clearly addressing individual interest and not standardized.
