Casa Cranta Hotel

The staff at the hotel are all wonderful, very accommodating, polite and helpful. if I am allowed to name a member of staff than I will name the hotel manager - Sandu - who was friendly, helpful and recommended many sights and tours for me. He was excellent and so polite. The hotel, itself, is very pleasant and clean and location was excellent - a few minutes walk to the Centre of Brasov.

Very nice hotel in a very nice neighborhood. If you can afford get the room with a view. The view is exceptional. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

This hotel was the perfect place to stay while in Brasov if you are looking for rustic, homey, relaxing feel to your hotel. Its quiet and walking distance (10 min) to the main square. Although its an up-hill walk back from town. The staff were friendly and all spoke English. They were very helpful. Especially Alex. We also booked 3 different day excursions directly from the hotel. And our driver (Sandu) was excellent and flexible. The hotel provides a wonderful breakfast (including fresh eggs to order). Dinner is also available at the hotel offering a nice selection of food choices. The chef was excellent. Its not fancy but I if I ever went back to Brasov, this is where I would stay.

Very pleasant and comfortable. Attentive and informative staff. Excellent cooked to order breakfasts. Excellent location close to everything. Three floor all up was a minor inconvenience. Excellent Parking in front of the entrance.Staff helped with luggage.Brasov is an amazing location in central Transylvania that has not yet been discovered by tourist industry.

Hotel is in a great location just above Brasov old town. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace overlooking the town. It's only a 10 minute walk to the main locations.

This hotel overlooked the city. Just up the hill was the citadel, and a 5 minute walk to centru. The black church is there. We had a belcony and had tea out in the sun looking at the city in the evening. A beautiful breakfast is included. The staff was so helpful and friendly. This is a treasure. If you need more space, we got the apartment so our daughter could be with us. Loved the jet tub after many hours exploring. This is a 5 star hotel. No lift, but the wonderful boys took the luggage up for us. Everything was perfect.

Our party of 8 stayed at this extremely comfortable, clean & welcoming hotel during our 4 night stay in the beautiful city of Brasov. We all thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Cranta, it was absolutely perfect for our holiday & certainly helped to make our visit to Brasov a truly memorable experience. Despite the extremely cold weather conditions the hotel was constantly warm & cosy. The staff were always polite & very helpful & our rooms were all very comfortable & unique. The position of the hotel is perfect for exploring the old city - with only a short walk down into the town we could choose from several really good (& very reasonable) restaurants. As the hotel is located on the hillside opposite Mount Tampa the views, especially in the snow, were fabulous. Breakfasts were good.
