The Carlton Hotel

Good location, and a decent value, no frills hotel. The guy who runs it is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast bags are a nice touch. I've stayed here several times now and always had the exact same room (economy double) - the decor is dated and it's pretty basic, but it's clean and comfortable and does the job. Complimentary toiletries aren't provided so you need to remember to bring your own, but it's no problem at all. Can't fault the place and will continue to stay here whenever I come to Ipswich.

The room was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities required for all my needs. It was great to have a breakfast pack. Imran the manager was amazing, attentive, and definitely made me feel like he he wanted me to have a enjoyable stay. The hotel was quite, so perfect for a great night's sleep, and the hotel easy access to to city centre, and situated in a respectful, quiet street.

Nothing, the hotel has thought of everything, to make a clients stay, a memorable, comfortable experience as possible.

Perfectly adequate hotel, people it seems only post negative things about this hotel because they expect the World for £60 ! Staff Are wonderful, our stay was comfortable, shower was hot, the room was basic but Clean. The location 1 mile from the quayside and 1/2 mile from ipswich ground. Thank you

It's hard not to like the place if your expectations are a cheap clean centrally located hotel ..

A great place to stay; peaceful and comfortable. Imran was really kind and helpful. The breakfast bag is a very thoughtful bonus.
