Just staying for 1 night while in Monaghan on business. Unfortunately for me there was a wedding on the same evening. Children running up and down the corridors knocking on doors is not funny at midnight when you've an early start. Should have been better supervised by both parents and staff.

Only dislike was the way breakfast is done . Why do you have to queue up for hot food and there is only one girl serving. Would it not be easier to have the food in a hot cabinet and you just take / pick your own like a self serve. Other than this i dont have any problems with the hotel or staff

"Getaway for New years"

This is a very nice hotel on the outskirts of Monaghan Town. The rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel food was very good and breakfast in particular was excellant. We had the special dinner on New years Eve. This was a 7 course affair and was served over a two hour period. This was very enjoyable. However enterainment provided on New Years Eve was very poor and the guy actually missed the midnight countdown.

"Really nice hotel. "

Really nice hotel. Very comfortable room. Swimming pool is always a bonus. Spoiled a little bit by a crowd of idiots shouting and messing in the corridor outside my room at 4:30 in the morning.
