Nice, clean rooms. Great location. Air conditioning needs servicing. Staff at pool and restaurant very nice, reception staff and manager helpful and efficient but could be warmer/friendlier

Lamai Wanta may be the best value for money hotel in Lamai. For the price, it’s clean, has nice rooms facing a well maintained jungle like garden area with plenty of shade, and the food is.good, with decent breakfast buffet. The pool is inviting and the location good for accessing the “main drag” in Lamai yet the resort itself is quiet. Would come back if in Lamai.

It doesn't look as nice as the photos and the Manager & Resort staff are unpleasant and rude. The rooms are VERY noisy, you can hear people burping in other rooms, not pleasant. Management pretend they don't know, I find this difficult to believe. There is a box jellyfish problem on the beach, people have died and the beach is VERY unsafe particularly for women at night. Not somewhere I would recommend.

This place is a little gem of a beach front resort in Lamai. Service waa 5* location is perfection for Lamai beach and town, highly recommend.

Very nice hotel to stay at. Very close to all the action and hiring scooters from the hotel was a nice added bonus. I would stay again if I go back for sure.

good location, quiet but only a minute or 2 from the restaurants/bars and shops.

Excellent value for money. Staff friendly and helpful - lovely location, right on the beach. Food pretty good and rooms clean and comfy. Only negative was that some of the tiles in the pool need replacing as they are sharp and broken. Wifi pretty weak too - but that was a bonus in my mind!

Overall Had a great 7 day stay. Loved it Pros Room was nice wit balcony looking into lush green forested area with other buildings spotted throughout Right on a great beach with fine white sand. Excellent walking beach. Nice and long. Loungers and umbrellas with some nice tree shade just beside pool. Staff were always smiling and helpful. Rom was always kept clean. Close to lots of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc also has a night food market a few blocks away Good party area but hotel is off the Main Street by a block, so nice and quiet. Cons If you want a lounger, umbrella, or shade you need to book one with the supplied beach towels by 6:00 am. They allow guests to do this so it becomes a must.

Good hotel on the beach, this is the best part, nice staff, quite place.
