Baan Yuree Resort and Spa

I made a reservation for a week in this hotel, the conditions were terrible, the rooms were dirty, old and smelly. The water didn't work at all, and that forced us to leave the next day. Terrible breakfast, everything dirty, everything old. We discussed with the manager to return the money for the remaining days and he agreed, but then the people from Agoda told us that they did not receive the approval. Very unfriendly and arrogant staff. Some liars!!! Don't come here, ever!

No water in room since morning. Informed staff but no reply whatsoever. Not at all coming back to this property again breakfat is average. Rooms are old . Water issues making stay very difficult. Not a perfeyplace to come again the in the future

Quite location located on top of the hill

The staff are friendly & helpful. Rooms and reception area clean & welcoming. Free shuttle into town - it is up quite a steep hill. Pool & surrounding areas in need of some TLC, swim up bar is half empty of water, pool and water do not look clean, water in pool is cloudy. Cocktails are more like mocktails - the alcohol appears left out or v watered down.

Good morning. Concerns reservation 4104.954.313 at the Baan Yuree Resort hotel in Patong from January 20 to January 31, 2024. I am outraged by my booking of this hotel. Room “stinking” musty and full of humidity. Television with almost no signal therefore unusable. Totally rusty patio chairs. No sea view because hidden by trees. Light fixtures that don't work. Room safe does not work due to lack of battery. No restaurant on site as specified on the site apart from a lunch buffet. Super hard and uncomfortable bedding. Derogatory and rude reception. Fridge door that doesn't close so there's no cold. No possibility of receiving a second card to open the room door. Toilet board impossible to sit on due to rusty fixings. What more can be said ? Hotel unworthy of bearing this name... nor of being available on your site. Without financial compensation from you, I will disseminate all this information with the photos on social networks as well as on the various hotel recommendation sites. Good to you. Very quiet area. Also lovely and quiet and relaxing around pool areas.

We made advance bookings for a total of three rooms for various dates, from December 29 to January 9 (1 room) and January 29 to February 9 (two rooms), with a total cost exceeding USD 2000. To our shock and dismay, upon our arrival, we were informed that there were no available extra rooms for us, and your hotel recommended an alternative accommodation. While we understood that such situations can arise, what followed was beyond belief. The front desk assured us that the charged amount would be refunded, with the possibility of a small cancellation fee of USD 100. Regrettably, this has proven to be nothing but empty promises. Our attempts to resolve this matter through Booking.com have been met with equal frustration. The property has steadfastly refused to issue a refund, claiming it to be non-refundable. This stance contradicts the hospitality industry's standard practices and is a blatant breach of trust. I have dedicated over two hours of my time, making international calls to both the hotel in Thailand and Booking.com's UK office. This situation has not only been financially inconvenient but also emotionally taxing for my family. What is particularly distressing is the hotel's refusal to accommodate us on an alternative date or even allow us to book rooms in the future. To add insult to injury, my wife visited your property twice in an attempt to discuss this matter with the manager, only to be outright denied a meeting. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable. I have been a loyal customer of Booking.com for over a decade and a partner with booking.com with my own properties, and I find it incredulous that a hotel partnered with such a reputable platform would engage in such dubious practices. I implore you to investigate this matter urgently and take appropriate action. I believe in the power of customer feedback to prompt positive change, and I sincerely hope that my grievances are addressed promptly. Hope his feedback reaches to top management. YOU CANNOT EAT UP ALL THE MOENY WITHOUT GIVING SERVICE!

Cheap place to book, booked as a couple travelling round Thailand. 5 mins scooter / taxi away from main strip and beach. Hotel clean rooms have everything you need (basic but good), breakfast included which was eatable not the best but definitely eatable, recommend this place. Staff are a great help with booking trips / scooters / taxis.

Possibly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in during 30 years of travelling all over the world. After walking up a very steep hill (beware if you have lots of luggage), you find yourself surrounded by garbage. Mold in the bathroom, no shower curtain. Rusted furniture on the balcony. Beat up furniture in the room. Water in the pool not quite the right colour. Rock hard beds, the flattest pillows we have ever seen. Ragged towels in bathroom. Unhelpful staff. How than call themselves a resort is a mystery, and where is the spa? Added bonus, hookers on the steps after we returned from dinner. Booked 2 nights left after the first night.

First stayed here twice 12 & 10 years ago & it was great. It’s disappointing that it’s now been taken over by a “management” company (PlanB.rentals). Came back with the family and the staff are now indifferent & lazy, the maintenance non-existent resulting in crumbling facilities. The pool would be great if they cleaned it properly. I don’t think the owners have a clue what’s going on. Such a pity… Will not stay here next time.
