I stayed because I attended a dinner at the hotel. I only booked a basic room but got an upgrade when I arrived. Very nice room in the main building.

Clean and well presented. The area is stunning, even in winter.

The parking is a hassle - normally guest parking is down a steep slope, makes it difficult to carry bags.

"Really good and would stay again but breakfast needs improvement."

Room was really nice, with a great outlook and set in really nice grounds. My evening meal was really nice with some of the best chips I've ever tasted. Breakfast wasn't as good and was below what I expected from such a nice place.

Breakfast had all the hallmarks of being microwaved and very oily. It was the only thing that let down my stay in what was such a nice hotel.
