"Not one to review usually but was very disappointed considering I travel to lots of hotels."

The surrounding area and building itself is beautiful

‘Cosy rooms’ are very small and squashed in some sort of extension. Could have been warned there was a wedding on as I was there for a work trip I was awake with extremely loud guests and music until 1am - if there was some notice I wouldn’t have stayed knowing that was going to be happening (or atleast would have expected to be put in a room as far away as possible from the party until 1am)

Lovely view of deer on the lawns.

Bathroom in the annex rooms v basic and uninviting. It felt like a boarding school. Messy reception and staff v busy doing big weddings.

"No air conditioning"

We stayed here before a flight and there is no air conditioning, it was absolutely unbearable in the room and we didn’t sleep a wink! It was so so hot and uncomfortable
