Dinner was lovely. Evening receptionist absolutely perfect. Accessible room perfect for our needs. Missed breakfast, perfect no doubt for working people but for a leisurely break finished far too early!

"My stay at The Lodge"

Although the lodge wasn’t part of the main hotel, the room was comfortable, spacious & had everything you would need for o/n accommodation

The room looked like it hadn’t been dusted or hoovered for weeks & there were quite a few dead bugs in the bathroom & bedroom.

"Ideal for Gatwick"

Beautifully decorated. Rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable. Bar meal on the evening and breakfast was very good Really good location for Gatwick airport

We weren't sure of where to park in the first instance. It becomes clear once you arrive In front of reception. It was late evening so not sure if we missed signage

"A very average hotel, tired, lacking personality and the staff don’t seem to care about guests."

It’s a hotel with lots of space in a decent, quiet location. Building is very impressive when you arrive.

All looking a bit neglected, shower was either scalding or cold, hard to control, room furniture very dated. Staff couldn’t care less, no interest in guest service, barman on his phone while people waited for drinks. A very average hotel that could be so much better. Breakfast buffet was the worst I have seen in years! Utterly pathetic. One poor girl by herself (who was lovely) trying to look after everyone. Shortly after I checked out I received a “how did we do?” E-mail. I was right there, why did not one ask me whilst I was there!?!

"Great value for money, good facilities, fantastic location, and friendly staff"

Excellent central location in downtown Chicago. The rooms are well equipped and clean.

I needed to use the lifts to higher floors which are also used as service elevators. This mean that I was continually being moved down to basement floors when I needed to get to floor 21. I feel a service elevator is needed for the staff and my friend stayed on the other side of the building and it was much easier to move between his room and the lobby.
