Heritage Village Resort & Spa Goa

This was our 3rd year at the Heritage. The experience gets better each time. The staff make it. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone speaks to you and treats you courteously, calling you sir/madam. You are more like part of the Heritage family and not a guest. The food is fabulous. Plenty of choices available. If you want something else you only need to ask & the chef's will prepare it for you. If you go to this hotel don't expect to have a fry up for breakfast or steak and chips for dinner. It is mostly Goan food so enjoy that experience. The rooms are spacious and cater for all your needs. The whole resort is spotlessly clean. The pool volleyball is a blast. Get involved whether you can play or not. The animation team don't force you to do anything. The time table for activities is available and if you want to take part then do. Everyone has fun and it can be quite competitive. We were celebrating my wife's 60th Birthday. She received a basket of flowers, cake & towel creations along with well wishes from the team. We also met the GM Guitry who thanked us for our visit. Later that day a bottle of local rum with a lovely card was left in our room. The personal touches this hotel provide are second to none. We can see why there's so many returning guests year after year. There were a few small negatives. If they hold a conference/function meal times are hard. There were no tables available due to the delegates being allowed to eat at the same time. It is like a free for all. Food coverings left open so that the food goes cold. Serving spoons/tongs being used for multiple dishes causing cross contamination. They are also very rude. Maybe their should be an option for them to have their food elsewhere, away from the guests. The hotel also offers multiple water coolers to keep you hydrated but the water was hot. Maybe these need updating. The pool washroom is not the best. It's just like a box in the corner of the hotel. It gets quite hot and smelly despite the hotels staff cleaning it regularly. But these are fixable so don't let it put you off. The Heritage Village is our "happy place" we are looking forward to our next visit Thank you to all the team you are totally amazing! Greg & Andrea

Just returned from our first trip to Goa staying at the Heritage Village in our second week as part of a two centre holiday. Everything about the hotel was wonderful starting with the lovely welcome. Room was clean and comfortable with welcome basket of nibbles. Food was very good with a wide selection at every meal. During our stay there were 2 gala evenings where food is eaten outdoors. Drinks were good with us using the 'All inclusive' menu which had everything we needed, however a second 'specials' menu was available at extra cost. Loved the warm pool and pool area with first come, first served beds. Entertainment activities took place around the pool of which I was more than happy to take part. Bikes are available free of charge to use to ride to local village or further. Others included; Cocktail demo, live cooking, napkin folding. I especially liked the efforts made for the 'International Womens Day'. Evening entertainment was ok with what appeared to be same songs by different artists however special mention to the Buble sounding artist. Our last night had a magician/mentalist who was very good. Location is only a few minutes walk to a long quiet beach with a beach shack. Worth mentioning that many guests are returning visitors and I can see why. We do not revisit places normally but think we definitely will be back. Finally I must mention the service and staff... amazing ...thankyou all for making our visit so special.

Staff was very very hospitable. They went out of their way to ensure we are comfortable. Especially since we were travelling with an infant, such an attitude really helped and we could thoroughly enjoy the holiday
