The decor and the friendly staff especially the bell hops! Great happy hour. Luggage storage for early arrivals and late departures.

Only two elevators for all the floors for this size hotel but wasn’t a big ordeal.

I have been trying to get an invoice for a week. When I checked out, it was impossible to find a receptionist at 6am. When I finally did, he emailed a blank invoice. When I saw the mistake, I couldn’t reenter the hotel because they’d left the desk and I didn’t have a key card. No one would answer the bell. All my requests for an invoice have been ignored and this is a business expense. Please, please, send me an invoice.

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Sonesta River North for a few days. The hotel is nice, but the real gem was our Concierge, Spiro! He is fun, funny, and knowledgeable. He kept us on course with the best restaurants, must-sees, and must-dos. We’ll definitely come back because of Spiro’s impeccable service and friendliness!

Price is quite high , Chicago

Our connecting flight from O’hare to our home city was canceled until the following day. We found this property with a quick search on Booking and were attracted to the comparatively reasonable price. The location was easily accessible by public transport as well as within walking distance of several major sites. We found the beds very comfortable, on the firm side, but that is our preference. There were toiletries-shampoo, soap, lotion, etc, which was every helpful since the airline had our luggage. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, giving us a late checkout. Overall a good experience, despite less than ideal circumstances.

Staff was great in both the hotel and restaurant. The bartender made from scratch pink lemonade that was fab. Pool was a great distraction when it rained out and we couldn’t tour. Antwone, the doorman, was so kind and helpful!
