Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West

This hotel was over priced for what you get. Breakfast was not included and $16 per person if you wanted to have it. The hot tub was out of service which was one of the main reasons we booked here. The room was missing a remote for the TV and the coffee cream that was in the room was clumpy. Wouldn't return

Front desk staff lady was not that pleasant, pool gave my son a rash, dogs barking in the night and loud people slamming the doors at all times of the night multiple times.

Clean, good location, staff was kind

The $17 breakfast fee for the worst setup I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Most times we find a hotel with free breakfasts that do a way better job than this. Nothing looked appetizing and there was a poor selection. Essentially we paid $17 for a half of a bagel. Not impressed at all. Lobby was freezing so we put our coats on as well as everyone else there. Swimming pool was small, dated and also freezing.

We booked this hotel because of the hot tub after skilling sore muscles etc. It was not indicated that the hot tub was not in service or hasn't been. We would have chosen somewhere else based on just that. Also, breakfast was paid for at reservation on my card but were charged $50 for breakfast after planning for it to have been included.

Hotel is dated, floor is coming up in the bathroom, tons of drywall cracks and dirty bathroom

I have to admit I was a little concerned about staying here after reading some of these recent reviews on Trip Advisor. We stayed here over New Year's, however, and I thought the hotel was excellent. It was clean, safe, and comfortable, and the staff were all very helpful. There were some minor negatives, however. They have a bar, but it was definitely closed during our stay (the hotel was pretty empty). There were some mechanical noises easily heard from our room. And of course, there's the breakfast issue. This hotel charges quite a bit of money ($16/adult) for what's pretty much a standard economy hotel breakfast. (But I'd rather go across the street to the Starlite for breakfast anyway). Bottom line: Clean, pet-friendly, well-priced, and a great stay.

Originally could not find reservation

Not much to like. Walls were thin rooms were outdated and visibly unclean. Tv had drip stains like it hadn’t been wiped in years. Floors were not moped.

Staff was rude. Unwelcoming. considering the fact I booked on Booking.com. After showing proof, they did not want to honor the 25USD property credit therefore Booking had to issue it. 75$ per fee for one night is ridiculous.

The location was the best part. Plenty of restaurants and things to do.

The pillows were awful. I asked for more firm pills and even tho the staff tried to accommodate they were very flat as well. I had to stack 4-5 pillows on top of one another just to get support. That and the housekeeping staff was very noisey in the morning.
