Hilton Garden Inn Allentown West

My stay was going well until I woke up to some woman standing in my room while I was sleeping asking me why I hadn’t left yet . How dare she not check her records, because if she had of she would have known that I requested a late check out! She left me feeling completely violated and disturbed. No one wants to wake up with a stranger standing overtop of you inquiring why you are still in a space that you have paid for!

Clean rooms. In house bar. The heated indoor pool is ideal as well as easy to locate which is nice for a change. The breakfast option is sixteen dollars which is outrageous. But the check in was so smooth. It is a comfortable atmosphere. It's also very quiet.

This is an adequate, highway hotel for an overnight stay, no more than that and not a place I would be looking to repeat a visit to. No food available on a Sunday, no extra coffee pods available. The location was convenient for getting on and off the highway and near stores and places for food.

Either something is wrong at Hilton or I just had bad luck recently at two of them. The reason I choose HGI is for the dinner and breakfast service. This HGI doesn't serve dinner on Sunday evening but they don't mention that when you're booking a room or when you check in. The Italian restaurant next door burned down but left their sign so I thought I had an alternative. No dinner. The next morning, I was very disappointed in the terrible excuse they had for a meal. Worse than the Hampton fake omelets. See the pictures of what was available at 9 AM when breakfast is served until 10. (See my pictures.) The staff seems unhappy to work there and barely respond. The Hilton Guarantee is just for marketing purposes. Don't rely on it.

Your booking system SUCKS! I got to the property and they told me YOU never sent them the code they need to validate my reservation. You have NO option to talk to a live person. I had to book directly through the hotel when I got there, at least they had my room
