Cayo Levantado Resort - All Inclusive

We absolutely loved everything about the place. It’s well designed and managed, quiet, beautiful, with excellent food and very attentive and caring personnel. We booked two rooms which were very spacious and comfortable. The resort facilities provide opportunities for various activities, are well equipped and run. The gym is great. There are several large pools and they were never crowded. The beach is very beautiful. Many thanks to the staff of the hotel who made this stay so enjoyable and pleasant. Overall - a great experience.

Mosquitos in the room on the ground floor

We stayed in early March for 6 days and loved every day. Frankly, everything was great. We didn't get to try the spa or excursions because we had a 15mo old baby with us, which takes a lot of time, but just the pools and the beach were wonderful. The food was amazing. Each restaurant had fantastic food. Even the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. For drawbacks, getting to the property is a major drag. It's a 3hr ride by car from Santo Domingo. Not much they can do about that, I guess. What they can improve on are two things: quality of coffee (didn't enjoy that at all) and the staff needs to get a bit better on their English. Some are better than others, but most of the time, communication was challenging. You can also communicate with your "ambassador" via WhatsApp and even that was not all smooth sailing, so yeah, staff's English needs to improve. But don't let this hold you back, even with what it is now, it's been a wonderful stay.

Habitación limpia con una cama de ensueños. Silenciosa y un room services en segundos. El mejor hotel en República Dominicana. Un aplauso para la gestión y el servicio.

Estadia maravilhosa. Serviço e estrutura do hotel são excelentes. O café da manhã é muito bom. A única coisa que pode melhorar é a gastronomia dos restaurantes.

I have traveled quite a bit in my life but never to do an all inclusive. That said I have been to a lot of high end hotels and for the cost/value was one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the caring staff to the stunning beach to the fine food and drink to the amenities/classes you will not be disappointed. Four nights is plenty but could easily enjoy this place for a week.Truly fantastic. The only challenge (not hotel issue) is that for us coming from NYC we have drive 2.5 hours across DR (flew into Santo Domingo) but certain cities do fly direct to Samana. Go here its FABULOUS!

This is an incredible resort. The service is unmatched. Ms. Emmanuella in particular was extremely helpful, kind and made our experience better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend this resort for couples, singles, families - Cayo Levantado has something special for everyone!! Thank you to all the staff for making my boyfriend’s birthday extra special. This was an unforgettable experience!!
