Cayo Levantado Resort - All Inclusive

The resort was a delight. Beautiful setting, efficient and agreeable staff. We only wish to make a reservation regarding the personal assistant upon arrival who did not explain certain things as she should have. The restaurant reservation system was a bit hectic but in the end another assistant sorted it out and made our evening. We will be back.

It’s paradise! Everything was perfect from service, over food to all amenities!

Pool area was lovely as were parts of the hotel. Clean and well kept.

Beware that a Junior suite advertised as having a separate living room and bedroom is actually not a suite at all. It is only one room, this was incorrectly sold to us (not as advertised on booking.com) and the hotel would not move us to remedy the situation. In addition there were several a la carte restaurants on site, none of which we could eat at on any night as there were no spaces. The buffet we were given was passable but not worth what we’d paid. For the most part the staff didn’t seem that happy and the service was painfully slow most of the time, which isn’t really acceptable at an expensive all-inclusive hotel. We wanted to treat ourselves to a couple of nights of luxury but felt mislead and pretty disappointed. Perhaps it was partly to do with the time of year being busy (New Year) but overall the experience was disappointing.

Beautiful property .love the fact no cars.staff excellent .always staff to help out . Spa service was amazing I highly recommend .

The staff, the food, the rooms and the experience overall were nearly perfect. I'm using the word "nearly" because this is an extremely luxurious hotel with an elevated price point, so I'm rating it accordingly

- The buffet was closed during our stay, which meant less options to eat and every restaurant required a reservation and a precise time. - My husband is allergic to seafood. They asked about allergies and we mentioned it. However, they asked again and again every single time we went to a restaurant. It would be nice if you took note and not ask again. - We were not asked about pillow preferences before our arrival (we heard from other guests that they asked during check in, but that part of the experience was not consistent). The first night I slept terribly because the pillow was too soft for my taste. I asked another kind of pillow and they immediately provided it :) - The airco in the room turns off every xx minutes. I understand this might be more sostainble but the sound it makes when turning off/on was disrupting our sleep constantly. - Last but not least, when leaving the hotel we asked for a boat at a specific time because we had to take our transport. The time of the boat was confirmed and we were there on time. However, they made us wait 30 minutes because of another guest who didnt book a boat and wanted us to wait. The hotel favoured the guest that was late instead of favouring us who were there on time and needed to be on time to catch another transport. Extremely unfair.

The food options were incredible, offering a variety of flavors to enjoy. The pools and the beach were breathtaking, and the room was always impeccably cleaned, adding a sense of luxury to our stay. What made this experience truly special was how the staff treated us—with kindness, dedication, and genuine care. It was so emotional that I cried when we had to leave. Cayo Levantado wasn’t just a honeymoon; it was a dream and a memory we’ll treasure forever. Thank you to the entire team for making this a magical experience. We can’t wait to return!
