DUNE Fairfield Beach

I liked the layout of the rooms. They had a nice assortment of silverware and plates (and fridge, microwave, and coffee maker) that would make it comfortable to settle in for a few days.

We rented the last room available. The floor in the bathroom has weak places where the floorboards are flexing uncomfortably under your feet. We also had a problem with the shower curtain not being quite long enough to retain the water. We ended up with a surprising amount of water on the floor to clean up after one shower.

Room decor is exceptional 👌 Neutral, calming & soft beach vibe :)

No teabags for early morning non coffee drinker :( Will bring next time!

The aesthetic and comfort.

The room (#26) was very nice.

Heavy noise from party people next door on a thursday evening.

Everything! Although contactless, Kim was there and provided a warm welcome. Room is charming. Clean. Wish we were staying longer. Walked to beach. Nearby bar (college hang out) and great market for breakfast sandwiches nearby a plus. Will definitely be back!

Parking was limited

It was clean and new. There was enough parking. Whatever unsavoriness the neighborhood offered was partly resolved with the high fence around the property. The staff-less nature of arrival and entry was fine.

While all the marketing fluff on the website makes it sound like it is "on" the beach, the DUNE Fairfield is more than a block away from the beach... and there are numerous other properties blocking the view and path. The rooms were well appointed, but it was clear the design isn't practical (kept running our shins into too-close-together furniture, no where to hang towels in the bathroom, can't open the trash can under the sink, etc.). The _worst_ part of our stay was the noise: there was constant booming bass from the bar next door until later than 1 AM (on a Tuesday night, even) and the over-loud drone of the front-door-mounted AC unit was loud and kept us awake, but not loud enough to over come the bar's booming bass. This property might be a nice place for young people to crash after a long night of partying or beach fun, but it isn't comfortable and it isn't quiet.

Great location - right in the middle of the area. If you have a college student, its a good place to stay.

I wasn't a fan of the bed. Shower was good but no vent?
