COStayed with my wife and 5yo, the staff was wonderful, and took great care with our daughter (even made her a home made coloring book with her name on it). Would definitely recommend. The location along the wall was perfect, and it the view of the denser from the balcony was awesome.
USThere were roaches in the room and we couldn’t sleep for the night as we just felt extremely uncomfortable. You can tell they get in through the cracks in the walls. They weren’t able to accommodate us besides paying for our taxi to the airport. Compared to the other boutique hotels in the area where we had no problems with I wouldn’t say this one is worth the money. The room wasn’t fully cleaned upon arrival (dirty dishes from previous guests when we came in) and we had to ask for more bath towels as there was an ant inside the ones they gave us.

GBCOWhat a lovely hotel. We arrived and were upgraded thanks to my Gold ALL status, and the room was ginormous and chic with a huge soft king size bed. We had a corner balcony over looking the ocean (and the Independence Day parade which was on during our stay-front row seats!) A big shout out to Juan David, Adris and the rest of the staff for making our stay wonderful and providing us with a beautiful honeymoon surprise (we came back from dinner to a room full of rose petals, chocolate covered strawberries and candles!!!) The Sofitel breakfast/dinner is top notch as is the pool. The staff there, such as Maria and Jair, are so lovely and attentive-remembering our names, stopping to make conversation and to help with our every desire. I would not hesitate to book the Bovedas again-in fact we are already planning future anniversaries there. I’m sure the Sofitel rooms are lovely but we were so happy with our room which was a fraction of the price. In response to previous reviews-I did not find it tired or dated at all. In fact it was a wonderfully modern yet coastal hotel.
