Clifton Sands Holiday Apartments

I walked to Palm Cove pier early every morning on a safe walking track that leads to a boardwalk over the creeks and channels - lots of interesting plants, birds & animals to see. After breakfast at one of the many various cafe's, I then walked back along the beautiful beach. Approx 4k each way. Then in the afternoon I would walk the opposite direction along the beach. The peace & quiet was everything I needed. Lots of interesting bird life to see & hear and the brilliant colours & smells of the tropics was stunning. A regular bus runs every 30 minutes if I wanted to travel further a field or into Cairns. Good time of the year to go.

Great beach good restaurant over road shops nearby

Moved out of property about 7:00 with plan to return about 9:30 to pick up items from fridge. On returning to property was advised that housemaid was in room cleaning. No problem until we found that housemaid had thrown out everything in the fridge even though there were cold bags and other personal items on the kitchen table. Surely she could see that we would be returning. We accepted that we could have advised management that we were coming back at 9:30 to pick up our "colds". The thing that was most disappointing was the attitude of the housemaid when we advised her that it was only 9:30 and that she could have held the things in the fridge until 10:00. The final straw was when the manager became involved and suggested we could get our things from the bin as it had only recently been emptied.

The property was comfortable with all the equipment we needed, within walking distance of the beach. The manager was friendly and responded promptly to all requests. Great value for money

Welcoming cheerful greeting on arrival, quiet clean comfortable accommodation. Close to beach without being right on the foreshore with its associated traffic and noise, some wind protection afforded on breezy days and nights. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.

The best place so far. Peaceful, great neighbors who are friendly. No noise at night except the curlews and waves crashing on the beach. Had the best sleeps during my stay. Bonus is the free Wi-Fi at the pool side and bbq area. Good way to interact and socialize with other customers. I'll be coming back.

It is a nice place to stay, Linda is really helpful and friendly. The apartment is clean and comfortable. There is everything that you need and more. Besides that the view is amazing. I really recommend stay short or long period there.

This property is in a nice quiet area a short walk to the beach . Would probably suit older guess as the pool area is small and there is no other play areas . There's a BBQ area set up in the car park which is available for you to use but you do feel like your in the car park. Our unit did have a few maintenance issue which were a bit Annoying but over all it was clean and presented well

Apartment is well stocked has everything you need.

This complex is central to great beachside trails and beach walks and is walking distance to Palm Cove and Kewarra Beach. This hotel is also an easy drive into Cairns city and Port Douglas, and is a tour pick-up point for those who want to visit and snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. It's a great place to just relax if that's what you like, or to go bike riding and exercising for those who are fitter.
