Hotel Livingston Siracusa

What a truly wonderful place. Great location and very nice service Can’t say enough good things about it.

Excellent facility with great rooms....windows, twelve feet in height, overlooking the Ionian Sea....sunrise was beautiful. I appreciated how the palazzo was respectfully and tastefully renovated....its irregular shapes bring great beauty and grace to this historic structure. The hotel is within walking distance of many charming piazzas and quality restaurants. Considerate and knowledgeable staff enhanced the entire Ortygia experience.

We loved our room here. Bed was super comfortable. Beautiful sea views from our window, tiny balcony, but has room for two chairs that I wish the hotel had provided. We brought the desk chair and bathroom stool out so we could sip wine on the balcony and look at the view. But, very minor inconvenience. Very fancy spa shower, room had all the amenities and just a great, overall feel. Great location for walking the old town of Ortygia. The "beach", swimming rock and platform are just down the road from here. Would definitely stay here again. Room 204

Except for their refusal to give us the requested seaside room excellent. Parking no problem and easy access to the jump on jump off bus. No restaurant.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend of a friend, and we will definitely do the same. We found the location to be perfect for exploring the island. Whenever we could avoid using the rental car, we were happy and we did not need it at all for the three nights we stayed at the Grand Hotel Livingston -- except for one trip to visit Noto, which turned out to be an easy ride. Speaking of the rental car, we were very impressed with the way the hotel kept the car safe and secure even though they do not have their own lot.

This is a lovely hotel with regal rooms and great views of the Sea. Everything was well appointed and very clean. The marble stairs in the hallways are polished to a glean and the view from the breakfast room at the top of the hotel is breathtaking. Only minor downsides of the location and the gym facilities. The area is a forgotten neighborhood of bygone luxury. The heart of the island is only a 5-minute walk away so no worries but sad to see this area in a lonely state. Also, the gym is nothing more than a very tiny room with a couple of machines wedged into it and almost touching the walls. Again, not a big deal but I would not even market that a physical fitness is available. All in all, we were very happy with the Livingston and also enjoyed the generous breakfast.

Hotel was fairly easy to find. We were concerned regarding parking being available but the hotel staff removed our suitcases and took the car to a safe parking place. Two days later, they delivered the car to the hotel door, and we were on our way. Great location on congested island of Ortyga. Easy walking to everything of interest.

Excellently maintained hotel next to the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful views. Period style. Nice bathroom with a bit small shower stall. Roof sun terrace. Adequate buffet breakfast. Well located to all historic aspect of Ortygia/Siracusa.

Beautiful hotel in great location;helpful reception re helping us with reservations and suggestions. Roomy bedroom overlooking the bay.We uses the rooftop area for our 4 some to have pre dinner cocktails. I loved the spa. Definitely would recommend this hotel. Drawback was parking.We had assistance from the staff but did get a scratch.

The hotel needs a little maintenance work and breakfast was just adequate but otherwise it was very good
