Hotel Livingston Siracusa

Stayed here one night the first week of Sep. It's a beautiful property well decorated in Sicilian old '80's style. The property right on the water in a quiet safe area of old town, with a beautiful Sea view all around. Very unique room decor with fabric wallcovering and very high ceilings, small balcony-terrace was a big plus. The bathroom was clean somewhat modern, with a Jacuzzi shower cabin, where water sprays everywhere, except where needed. Breakfast is simple, with very basic choices, but the view from the dining room is gorgeous. Staff is very nice and speaks English. AC works well. The mattress is not the softest, and pillows too hard. Valet-parking available on the property which is very convenient, it's on the street though along the perimeter of the hotel but seems very safe. There is a Spa with sauna in the hotel, but I didn't visit it. Wish I could spend more time here, but 1.5 days was enough for me to cover all the beautiful parts of the old town of Ortigia. Would stay here any time when in Syracuse!

Great hotel and friendly staff. Close to sea with fantastic views

Great location in historic part of Siracusa. Offers free parking for hotel guests which is a must in this area. Historic location right on sea wall. Staff was friendly and breakfast was excellent.

Nice room. Fantastic sea view from balcony. Good car parking service. Short walk to everywhere in Ortega. Worst breakfast in Sicily and overall dated feel to hotel detracts from what could be a very good experience. Roof terrace is disappointing.

Nicely renovated boutique hotel by the sea. Highly recommended

The hotel was perfectly located overlooking the ocean. We really enjoyed going for a swim from a small beach nearby. Walking distance to everything and parking wasn’t a problem either. The breakfast was very good and our room was very spacious.

Overall experience was OK. Great location, room well appointed. However, hotel is located adjacent to waterline and near a public area where visitors can sunbathe. Unfortunately, during the evening, the same place which is steps away from the hotel, turns into a nightclub, blaring music until 1am. Our room which faced the waterline was approximately 50 yards aways and yet, our room vibrated from the EXTREMELY LOUD music! Contacted reception and they were aware of the noise, yet, there was no mention anywhere on their site and/or documentation received that possible noise stemming from club may be experienced. Moreover, the breakfast was mediocre and sundeck not functional to enjoy the evening. The bathroom also had a bath/shower/jacuzzi combination which was awkward to use and truly uncomfortable I would recommend hotel only if you seek a historical hotel with antique furniture in a very good location. However, if sleeping is important to you, you run the risk of hearing extreme thumping of the music until 1am. As a travel agency owner, I chose the hotel in hopes of offering it to my clients. Unfortunately, I will not be offering this hotel primarily due to the fear of possible noise/disturbance from the nearby club.

Great location on Ortygia with surprisingly easy parking. Very helpful staff and wonderful roof top breakfast. Romm was somewhat dark with unusual shower/tub combo, but very comfortable.

Great location, fantastic view with an above average service. Hotel needs desperately a renovation.
