"This is how holidays should be!"

10.0

It’s been some time since I visited Atrium Hotel before and I must say that my staying here also this time was an excellent experience! I would first like to point out the amazing architecture of this hotel, plus the view, as it is located up on the hill above Agia Paraskevi beach. Every corner of the hotel is so well designed and exceptional! Spending time in the main lounges and on the comfortable sofas made it difficult for me to focus on my reading as I was constantly distracted by the beauty of the space and the stunning view. I travelled solo, but I never felt alone during my stay. The staff is so friendly and professional, always welcoming with a warm smile. I had a bed and breakfast reservation and I really enjoyed the breakfast by the pool. I also had dinner at the hotel twice and the food was great. A big variety at the buffet, Greek food with a twist that—even as a Greek—I truly appreciated. Plus, I found their buffet dinner prices very fair. It’s not easy to find such quality and generous portions -as it is a buffet and someone can eat as much as they wish-, at this price range. The value for money is excellent. I also tried some of their white wines and I really liked them—nicely selected and well-paired with the dishes. The hotel rooms have been renovated since my last stay which was years ago and i must say i was amazed by the new look! I ll definitely be back. A big thank you to everyone that made me feel so at home 🙂 and well done for respecting your customers by offering such high-quality service, thoughtful details, and true hospitality. With my best regards and appreciation, Christina

"Stunning hotel - we will definitely be back."

10.0

What an absolute gem - we loved our stay at Atrium. The architecture and design are just wonderful and the quality of the rooms, the setting and the service feel more like 5 star than 4 star. We stayed in a maisonette room with a shared pool which was perfect for me, my husband and our 17 year old daughter. Plenty of room and such a high spec finish to everything. Lots of small design touches that made it super practical too. The pool and view over the sea to Greece is just stunning. We didn’t want to leave at all. Near lots of local tavernas and a short walk down to the Beach. There is a fab little taverna in the shade by the pool overlooking the sea for lunch too - just perfect. Dimitri served us each day and was just delightful. Highly recommend and we will be back - like many of the guests we met there who were on repeat visits. A great find!

"A Wonderful Stay at the Atrium Hotel Skiathos (with a couple of minor notes)"

10.0

This marked our second stay at the Atrium Hotel in Skiathos, and our fifth visit to the island since 2009. I can wholeheartedly recommend it for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is stunning, nestled beautifully into the hillside with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated, Room 705 offering a comfortable sanctuary after a day of exploring. The facilities are top-notch, especially the pool areas which are meticulously maintained and offer plenty of space to unwind. The serene atmosphere creates a truly tranquil environment. The location is fantastic, providing easy walking access to the beach and a short drive to Skiathos Town, allowing for a perfect balance of relaxation and exploration. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread each morning, offering a wide variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. While our overall experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of minor points worth mentioning. We did observe a common issue with sunbeds being 'reserved' with towels very early in the morning, often making it difficult to find available spots even when the pool officially opened. While it was encouraging to occasionally see management remove towels from unoccupied beds, this action was infrequent and often occurred too late in the morning to fully address the problem. Additionally, we found the prices for drinks and food within the hotel to be on the very high side compared to the numerous options available outside the resort. Despite these small observations, they did not detract significantly from what was an otherwise exceptional holiday. The quality of service, the beauty of the surroundings, and the general ambiance of the Atrium Hotel Skiathos made for a memorable and highly enjoyable stay. We would certainly consider returning!

"A Wonderful Place to spend your Holiday"

10.0

Fantastic Hotel. This is probably the best looking Hotel in Greece. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. Beautiful views. Massive rooms and amenities. There was loads of different areas of the hotel to explore. Close to some lovely tavernas/restaurants. Would recommend a stay at the Atrium. A 20 minute bus ride to the beautiful town of Skiathos. Some lovely beaches within a few miles.

"Beautiful hotel but lots of steps"

8.0

On arrival ring the bell then a mini bus transports you and your luggage to the hotel. We were in room 208 with a sea view . The rooms are very clean and are made up daily, towels changed if you leave them on the floor. The food is very good at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner is a buffet but the food is good. We were not prepared for the main round with a blind bend going downhill to a cluster of restaurants. As a result ate at the hotel on most evening. Bus stop 16 is left out of the hotel and only 2 euros into the town. The road and lack of footpath is a problem. The shop serves everything you would need when you get there. The staff at the hotel are wonderful, Dimetrius arranged for me to have stuffed tomatoes which I love, many thanks to him and the chef. James ( same name as husband) loved our chats about London and Manchester ! The pool situation is as others have said, too few sun beds and not opening until 9:30. This causes the reserve problem. A beautiful hotel hotel, we had the relaxing holiday we hoped for but the road situation limited us more than I had hoped.

"Relaxing break"

10.0

Excellent room with sea view and garden, convenient for local restaurants, buses and just a short walk to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful, good choice at breakfast with gluten free bread available on request. Very pleasant pool area with a poolside bar and restaurant. An added bonus was the nest of baby swallows in our corridor, which was a surprise on our first evening! One minor complaint would be that the pool was closed until 9.30am, yet the hotel did nothing to prevent people walking past the barrier before then to reserve sunbeds. Overall though a very pleasant stay.

"Very pleasant hotel with great views"

8.0

Stayed 6 nights in July. Service was generally excellent. Breakfast and dinner buffet dinners were very good - good quality food and very tasty, plenty of variety. Staff were thoughtful and friendly. Views from the hotel are fantastic, it’s very well laid out so almost all rooms have good views, and at sunset it’s very atmospheric. Rooms spacious, clean, attractively furnished and well equipped with fridge and kettle. Pool area and terrace is extremely pleasant, and there are lots of inside public areas to sit if you want (though these seemed barely used) with nice furnishings and interesting decorations and historical objects. Good pool table available for use at €5/hr. The beach of Agia Paraskevi is extremely nice and 5 mins down the hill. Things we didn’t like so much: the pool has too few loungers around it, and this encourages the usual behaviour of people draping towels over loungers to reserve them. Even an hour before the pool was officially open, half the loungers would be ‘reserved’. Twice we were unable to get anywhere to sit. Secondly the rooms at the bottom (floor 1) are very close to the busy main road and the outside seating / terrace can be a bit noisy. The day we arrived we asked very politely if there was any chance we could move because of the road noise and the receptionist’s first response was ‘if you shut the window you won’t hear the noise’ which really was a breathtakingly poor way to respond (was the only bad experience we had with the staff) but when we persisted she did reluctantly ask the manager if it was possible, which it wasn’t. Finally be aware that you are somewhat captive at this hotel. There’s not a lot else around - the beach, a tiny mini market 500m down the road. There’s a regular bus service to and from Skiathos town with many stops on the way; it’s a very good service but in the evening (eg 7-8.30) it can be impossible to get on because it’s already packed completely full.
