The location of Atrium Hotel it’s really good, the viuw from my room was really beautifull, Inwas in a superior room sea viiw. Close the Hotel there was a stop bus that goes around the Island beaches and in the town. The Hotel was full and the service was a little bit confused, I think that the waiters (Ihad only the breakfast) didn’t have a lot of experiences in work. Definitely I had a good Stay to the Hotel and I’m satisfaied aboiut my holiday.

"'Wow' hotel"

10.0

A 'wow' hotel. We stopped in room 504, had an amazing view. The room, hotel decor and views from the pool were stunning. Breakfast wasn't hugely varied but had everything you would want and all high quality food. Reception staff were really helpful and gave us some great recommendations as well as booking our taxis etc. There was also a great shuttle service to the beach below you could book via the app. As expected as the view is amazing it means a hill, there is a lift up and down but still expect some steps, we didn't mind but something to be aware of. Great location as lots of lovely bars and restaurants near by (not rowdy), nice beach in front and on the main road by bus stop 16 which takes you straight to lots of beaches and Skiathos town which is a must. We would 100% return to this hotel.

"Great vacation in Skiathos"

10.0

An exquisite boutique hotel with a stunning view. The hotel is very clean with excellent amenities a great breakfast and excellent position . It is located at the middle of the distance between skiathos town and Koukournaris Beach , with a lot of small shops around and also some great taverns .

"Not great this year."

6.0

This was our second stay at the Atrium. We enjoyed it so much last year that we decided to book again . This time, however, we don’t feel that we have had the same experience , mainly because of the attitude of the staff. The hotel remains beautiful, the sea views are incredible , the pool area is great and the rooms are comfortable . But this year, many of the staff have come across as rude and inattentive . At check in , at 10pm , we weren’t offered even a soft drink upon arrival . We also had to stand around waiting whilst another couple were checked in at the same time , it seemed very unwelcoming . Our kids were told that their room was not ready on the first night and were then checked into a lovely suite with a hot tub but had to sign a contract to vacate the room first thing the next morning . They did this respectfully but no one even came to inform them when their own room was ready and they had to keep checking . They were essentially without a room until 3pm. We were in rooms 502 and 507 and every morning we were woken by the incredible noise of all the housekeeping staff going past from their base with their trolleys. No effort was made to be quiet. I joked to my husband that it was a little like being in A and E. After the first day we noticed that the fridge in our room was not working all that well and we were told it would be looked at . When after this it still was not working, I was quite abruptly told that I could just use the fridge in the kids’ room . Eventually the fridge was changed but there was a real unwillingness. On another occasion at reception some guests asked for information about local walking routes and the receptionist dismissively told them they would have to come back tomorrow and ask someone else . Most hotels would have info of this nature readily available . The service at breakfast was equally unwelcoming . We were puzzled by the manager who just stood around looking bored whilst other staff half-heartedly went about their duties or stood around chatting . When clearing the tables I always said thank you but some waiters didn’t even respond . This morning my daughter asked for some condiments to be replenished and they couldn’t be bothered so just put them to one side ! It’s such a shame that this was our experience this year because this beautiful hotel has so much going for it. Hote

"Stunning Views and Warm Hospitality"

10.0

We loved our stay here! The hotel is beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Our room had a stunning view, and the entire place felt welcoming and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. A perfect mix of comfort, style, and genuine hospitality—we’d gladly come back!

"The best hotel workers in the world!"

10.0

It is a nice hotel, with great food options for breakfasts and dinner, everything was very tasty, however the main reason why I decided to leave the review for the first time in my life is the staff at the hotel. From the cleaning ladies to the bartenders and especially people working at the restaurant (Konstantina and James) all people were so nice, friendly and amazing. We were there with our baby and they were so helpful when we needed help. We have travel a lot in our lives, but never did we stay at a hotel that had such nice people literally everywhere. We are sending our love to all of them, they were the highlight of our vacation.

This hotel is in my opinion not 4 star based on others I have stayed in. We stayed 10 nights. We checked in around 10.30pm and we’re offered a welcome drink but first we had to wait for the other couple to check in before they served us the drink. Had we known this, we would have gone to our room as we were tired – we were then too late to find anywhere to eat. We were led to the pool bar and offered either lemon, orange or ouzo. Usually welcome drinks are offered in the main reception area without having to walk through the hotel or wait for others. The hotel itself is pretty as are the views. The walk back from the beach is arduous (but good exercise). There is a short footpath along the frontage of the hotel but there are otherwise no footpaths to the nearest beach or down to the taverna/shops. Take care when crossing the road as there is a blind corner. At night we walked holding our mobile phones with the light on to show drivers we were walking in the road. Air conditioning was very good and quiet. You can order a rental car to the hotel. Staff on breakfast and lifeguard lady all very pleasant. The breakfast was disappointing. The continental breakfast is good if you like meats and cheese. The English breakfast is poorly executed - would not pass as an English breakfast (pizza?!). No fresh orange juice – made from concentrate. There are two yogurts served in large bowls and walnuts, a few variety of seeds, raisins and cranberries, honey. Fruit is cut into slices but limited – and no whole fruit. We paid a little extra to have a sea view which we got however the very large privacy boards on either side of the balcony spoil the effect. The rooms are spacious, well arranged and the bed is very comfortable. You get one facial wipe packet which was replenished once before we left. One cotton wool and cotton buds kit which was not replenished. Two very small body lotions and two small conditioners. This should really have been replenished daily going by previous hotels we have stayed in which are 4 star. The other soap/wash was attached to the shower wall. We took our own tea bags – Liptons, Nescafe, herbal sachets, sugar are in the room. On our second day when fixing the sheet I noticed there was dried blood and a stain. I decided to check the sheet and mattress protector and to my horror it was dirty, stained and discoloured. Use your imagination but these were not from spills! I don’t think the stained mattress protector had been changed before us. I complained to reception immediately and the bedding was changed. No apology from the manager – only from the cleaner who came to change them. The cups are not taken away to be cleaned and replaced with fresh ones. Twice, I saw our cleaner wash our coffee cups in the sink, no washing-up liquid and dried with a towel which was attached to her uniform. I’m guessing the same towel was used in other rooms too. I got speaking to one of the other guests who had been the previous year and she mentioned that last year the products had been Elemis (minding their pennies this year). The very few products we did get were not of high quality. It was difficult to get a sunbed as people left towels there before heading to breakfast. I was told by reception it would be fine to remove the towels. I did not feel this was my job to do this as I did not want to risk having any arguments with guests. The manager did suggest I go and sit in the terrace area – a small confined courtyard off one of the lounges where there is no pool. There are some small signs advising guests not to reserve sunbeds but either people ignored them or they did not see them. I couldn't see the sign. In the end we decided to go to the beach and only spent two half days by the pool which would have been my preferred place. The pool opens at 9.30 so no early morning swim. The pool is taped off before 9.30 but that gets ignored too. We ate once at the hotel (our last night) as it was a BBQ recommended by one of the guests and we did enjoy the food and it was plentiful. Drinks are expensive including the bottled water. 6 euros. We really got the feeling that management are trying to save wherever possible. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel as it was not good value compared to others in the area. We have travelled to many Greek islands and stayed in lots of different hotels but feel very let down by this one. If I won this hotel in a competition I still wouldn't go back. But ... Skiathos is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Great restaurants in town (Plakes and Scala - but book) and a good vibe. Buses every 15 minutes.
