The Phoenix Hotel Zermatt

Stayed here with the family on our Christmas vacation. What an excellent find! Charming, Cozy, Great location, very clean and excellent service. Laurence and Denis are excellent hosts. This made it to my revisit list.

ロッジ風のかわいい造りのホテルで、室内は空調なしでとても暖かかったです。朝食も種類が豊富にあって、楽しめました！ お水が1人1本(１つは炭酸入り)がサービスでいただけたのもありがたいです。　洗面所に換気扇があったのもよかったです。 また、スタッフさんの対応もフレンドリーで やけどをしてしまい応急処置が必要となった際にもとても迅速な対応をしていただけてとても感謝してます。ありがとうございました。

周辺ホテルはどこでもですが駅からの上り下りの坂があったので時間に余裕を持って行動することをおすすめします。 あとはシャンプー&ボディーソープが小さめ(でも1泊につき1人1本いただけました！)のとスリッパがなかったのでこちらはご持参をおすすめします！

The breakfast was amazing - great selection of cheeses, pastries, bread, etc. The room was very clean and even with the couch made into a bed, it provided enough room for our luggage. We did only have one pillow per person, but after speaking with reception, they were able to provide more pillows. There was no AC or fans, but with the doors open, it was not too hot.

The Hotel Phoenix is exactly what you hope to find in the Swiss Alps – a quaint, family-run hotel that truly embodies the spirit of hospitality. The location is unbeatable: an easy walk to town, the ski lifts, and the train station, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re hitting the slopes or exploring Zermatt. What sets this place apart is the genuine care you feel from the moment you arrive. The owner is there from sunrise to sunset, and it shows in every detail. They’re deeply committed to both hospitality and sustainability, taking energy conservation seriously without compromising comfort. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the dedicated ski room at a separate entrance makes storing your gear effortless. The balcony views of the Matterhorn are absolutely spectacular – worth waking up early for. We can’t recommend Hotel Phoenix highly enough. It’s the perfect blend of location, comfort, and heartfelt service that makes a ski trip truly memorable.
