Intercontinental Hua Hin is such a beautiful tranquil place . The ambience of the hotel and the room was just fantastic. We wanted a restful holiday and we certainly got it. Every member of staff were very polite and courteous. The food is fantastic from the vast array at breakfast to the fantastic Jaras Restaurant. Would certainly recommend and we will definitely be returning. As a restaurant Manager myself and my Husband an IHG Diamond Elite Ambassador we have stayed in a lot of hotels for IHG and we feel we must acknowledge a few members of staff by name so they can be recognised for exceptional customer service. Champ, Kong, Ray and Paul from the pool bar looked after us whilst at the pool, there service to us was 5 ⭐ , they have amazing Customer Service skills. Nok the Restaurant Manager from Jaras was exceptional, the first night we went for dinner my Husband was very ill and she had my dinner brought up to the room for me. Unfortunately he ended up in hospital the next day with pneumonia. After a week of rest we went again and her attention to detail is second to none. We will be dining there tonight for our final dinner which I’m sure will be excellent, the food is amazing at Jars. Nok is a beautiful Lady who deserves a very special mention as she is an absolute credit to the hotel. Please also thank Poo our housekeeper who looked after us . regarding an extremely distressing experience at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort during our stay from May 4th to 7th, 2026, booked via American Express. Our stay was marred by a severe security breach, substandard facilities, and, most appallingly, the unprofessional and deceitful conduct of the Front Office Manager, ​The following points detail the gravity of the situation: ​1. Severe Security Breach and Safety Concerns: At 11:00 PM on the night of my arrival, while my elderly mother (70) and I were asleep, a male individual in civilian clothing (polo shirt and jeans) repeatedly knocked on our door, claiming to deliver honey which we never ordered. This caused a severe panic attack and left us feeling unsafe for the remainder of our stay. Despite reporting this to the Front Desk twice, the Front Office Manager, claimed total ignorance the next morning. It took him 10 hours to review CCTV footage, and he provided contradictory information, falsely claiming the individual was "Room Service," despite the dress code and hotel policy stating no service is provided after 10:00 PM. ​2. Gross Misconduct and Deceit by Front Office Manager: demonstrated a complete lack of leadership, integrity, and service mind. ​Dishonesty: He repeatedly provided evasive and contradictory answers regarding the security incident. I have audio recordings confirming his inconsistent statements. ​Unprofessional Attitude: When I requested to return pre-purchased vouchers due to loss of brand trust, he responded sarcastically, feigning ignorance about the IHG corporate office and the voucher sales process. ​Hostile Resolution: At 8:00 PM, instead of ensuring our safety, he refused to upgrade us to a more secure room and suggested we leave the hotel and contact our agency to find new accommodations ourselves, showing total disregard for my 70 year old mother’s well-being. ​Retraction of Offers: During check-out, he attempted to charge us for the spa and dinner previously offered as compensation. He only relented after I informed him that I had recorded our prior conversation. ​3. Substandard Service and Facilities: ​Hygiene: A hair was found on our breakfast table; the staff removed it with a tissue without offering any apology. ​Room Quality: Despite being a Suite, the bed linens were old, worn, and torn, failing to meet IHG’s global standards. ​Service Failures: A server spilled a drink on my outfit without proper professional recovery. ​This experience has fundamentally shattered my confidence in the IHG brand. The security lapse was frightening, but the blatant dishonesty and "gaslighting" by a senior manager are unacceptable.

The room is perfect with all amenities I want. Very clean, the mattress is soft and very comfortable. There has shopping mall opposite the hotel. Good value for staying

The behaviour of staff, cleanliness, room and outdoor ambiance were all great. Food at restaurants were great too. No complains. Location is good as well. Would love to visit again.

I would like to share honest feedback regarding my recent stay at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort in a Private Garden Suite from 4–7 May. While there were positive aspects of the stay, particularly the excellent housekeeping team, very good breakfast experience, and professional spa therapists, the overall experience unfortunately did not meet the standards I expected from the InterContinental brand. From arrival, the experience lacked warmth and attentiveness. We waited for assistance at check-in, and the initial interaction from the staff member handling our arrival felt minimal and disengaged, although another colleague later improved the interaction with a more welcoming approach. The biggest disappointment came from the Greek restaurant. Communication was difficult due to language barriers, several menu items were unavailable, and the food quality was unacceptable. The steak served was not fresh and had an unpleasant smell, while the octopus dish was extremely dry and tasted old. What concerned me most was the response from the supervisor, which focused only on removing the charge rather than addressing the seriousness of the issue or offering a genuine apology. The room itself was visually beautiful and clean, but comfort was heavily impacted by poor noise insulation, unstable air conditioning, and inconsistent shower water temperature that shifted from hot to cold every few seconds. Sleep quality during the first and third nights was particularly poor due to noise and room temperature issues. My final impression was unfortunately worsened during check-out. My wife and I received repeated calls from the front desk regarding our departure timing before check-out hours had even passed, forcing us to interrupt our shower to answer where I didn't understand the urgency. Before leaving, I requested to speak with the front desk manager because I wanted to share my concerns directly. The manager appeared occupied with another guest whom they seemed to prioritize heavily. Once my transportation arrived, I informed the staff member handling my check-out that we were unhappy with the stay and requested that the manager call me later. Ironically, I was standing very close to the manager while making this request. The staff assured me someone would contact me, but no one ever did. What disappointed me most was not only the operational issues themselves, but the lack of genuine care, ownership, and guest attention throughout several moments of the stay. For a luxury property under the InterContinental name, I genuinely expected a much higher level of service and professionalism. I share this feedback respectfully and honestly because I believe guest experience at this level should be treated with far greater attention. Kind regards,

Great services from arrival till departure. Convenient location, spacious room with enjoyable facilities like gym, spa, kids club, pool with hot/warm/cold jacuzzi in the middle of the garden, private and direct access to the beach. This hotel is great for couple and family stay. The breakfast is not to be missed with various choices of foods and the tasty food, eventhough some some eggs order was missing but understandable as we went down during peak time. We enjoy with other foods on the buffet lines though. Antonia at Front desk was helpful with the check-in, kept us informed on the phone when 1st room was ready and escorted us to the room when we were back in the afternoon. All bellman, HK, pool bar and breakfast team are also helpful and made us feel pampered. Last but not least, thank you for those ride on the the mini train. We definitely recommend your hotel and will be back again.

Intercontinental Hua Hin is our favorite hotel in the Thailand . We come back here 2 times a year. This time I had to be in Hawaii so I booked for my wife and 2 kids. They had wonderful time in Hua Hin and sent me photos. Whenever we come to Hua Hin our family do not even think about where we gunna stay. Our vacation in Hua Hin equivalent to vacation in Intercontinental Hua Hin! I thanks intercontinental Hua Hin for taking good care of my family.

Receptionist/ front office attendant named “Gob” provided excellent service, very helpful and beyond our expectation to us.

Stayed here during long-weened. Intercontinental hua hin has always been my home away from home since its opening more than 10 years ago, and it never fails to impress me. I would like to sincerely express my gratitude Khun Mod at Azure, Khun Baitoey at reception, Khun Yim at the spa, khun Kong at the bar and lastly Khun Nok at Jaras who all gave me warmth and comfort during my stay. Cannot wait until my next stay here!
