Hunt's Castle

The first room was infested with ants. Hair in the bed. The second room still had ants but they weren’t in our bed. The second room had roaches. Nowhere to put the soap in the shower. Nicest coffee bar I ever saw. Great bed. Too noisy and disappointed I couldn’t see the water-which is what I paid for. No bathtub-which is also what I asked for. There was an upcharge for using our card which is not listed on Expedia. They tried to charge me $41 a night when my reservation said $34 a night.

We woke up in the middle of the night covered in bugs. Bug bites all over our bodies. Ants all over! I can take a roach or two, but my whole body is covered in big big bites.. they don't look like ant bites. The are big and hard and weeping puss. We were supposed to stay all day today but left because our whole bodies itch and hurt. This was ridiculous. I will probably never come to this place again. We have been here several times before, but it has never been this bad. I'm thinking this will be the last visit. We had only a side lamp and oven lamp as lights. I can't believe how disgusting it was.

Roaches, ants, crickets. Banging from ongoing construction in next room. Pool not available. Shower would not drain. TV kept going offline. Staff was pleasant and friendly and got shower drain fixed and tv fixed. Nice lighted fishing pier.

My room way ok but the front office people were feeding the local pigeons every morning, there was a lot bird poop everywhere.

I’ve been going to Hunts castle for over 30yrs. Everything about the hotel is getting worse by the year. No phone or nightstand in the room. No remote for the tv. There was no soap in shower. I will not be staying there anymore which is disappointing.

Has front water view which is beautiful but unfortunately the pool was closed due to the rain so we went to community pool and after that we went fishing at the pier and it was great. The hotel room was ok but the bathroom toilet was running water Employees were friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Quaint little hotel with basic amenities. Great for a family fishing trip.

Not clean. Broken bed. Broken light fixtures. Exposed electrical wire. Loud patrons. Pictures on website were great but in reality the stay was nothing like the pictures. Loud music and fireworks…it was the worst experience we experienced.

Rooms were unsanitary and unsafe. Mold growing on base boards.
