I booked a one bedroom suite 3 weeks in advance of a special weekend with my wife. I did the early check-in on the Bonvoy app the morning of our arrival and requested notification when my electronic key would be available. I listed our arrival time of noon hoping to check in early. At 2pm I texted the hotel to see when our room would be ready. They said 4 O’Clock. We arrived at 4pm and were told they gave our room away to a guest who decided to stay an extra night. I spoke with the manager who told me guests who are currently in the hotel take priority over incoming guests so in other words your reservation means absolutely nothing at this hotel. DON’T CHANCE RUINING YOUR VACATION. Stay somewhere else.
The hotel is brand new and appears to be opened for about a week. Lottie at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We were there to attend a wedding, and, on that Saturday, the elevators were not working but Lottie put us on the second floor, which worked fine. They offered to carry luggage up as well. I realize that glitches happen on a new building. Outside of the lobby does not have a drive thru canopy, which would have been helpful during the heavy rain on that day. If in the area, we would stay here again.
The property is beautiful and nicely appointed.
USThe Hotel is right in the middle of renovations. The whole lobby is torn down. Parking lot is full of old doors, matresses, and garbage. Watch out for nails in the parking lot!
