Comfortable double room in a nice local pub. Breakfast was nice and staff were friendly.

It is a very old building and therefore not surprising that the bedrooms are somewhat difficult to access. In general, the pub is quite 'tired' and the dinner menu is very ordinary. Service leaves a lot to be desired as requests often forgotten e.g. an extra glass for wine, a jug of water etc.

We had a very comfortable stop-over here and booked two rooms, that were both tastefully decorated and comfortable. We had a drink in the bar and had a relaxing time. We all had breakfast the next morning and we were well looked after, the food was fine and only one issue we had was the poor coffee that was served.

Being a little tired I stayed longer in bed than I had intended and missed the real breakfast experience; but I was fed & tea'd well enough for my journey home. Thank you!

No local shops to buy a newspaper. Nothing to do in the lcal area

Great place BUT please get the shower fixed... very low pressure 👍👍👍

Staff so freindly and professional it’s run extremely well everyone seems to know there jobs and they get on with it .

Beautiful character building and cosy bedrooms. Unfortunately some of the food and drink items on the menu were not available and only highlighted at the time of order. Apparently the menu was due for an update.
