Red Lion Hotel Adderbury by Greene King Inns

Great place to stay, if I'm ever in that neck of the woods again, I wouldn't hesitate to book there. Staff really friendly and although busy always had time for a chat. Food was amazing too.

I ate in the restaurant both nights of the stay, food was excellent. Room was small but clean and very well maintained. |Hotel was quiet. Wi-fi required creating a Sky account, which need name, address and DoB, not cool. The bandwidth was poor in my room, <800kb upload, and non-existent in the bar or restaurant... signal but no bandwidth at all... I tried three devices. This is unacceptable for a modern hotel. Service was mixed... staff were pleasant but often too busy chatting to provide prompt attention.

Second time I’ve stayed here with work colleagues while on business. Really pleasant surroundings, reasonably close to M40, great character building, very clean and comfortable bedrooms, excellent food and drink which is reasonably priced (breakfast choices are very good indeed) and super friendly staff. I’ll look forward to my third stay then.

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Red Lion Adderbury. The hotel is full of character and everything was spotless, particularly the rooms. A lovely friendly staff completed the perfect stay. We can't wait to return again soon.
