Red Lion Hotel Adderbury by Greene King Inns

The staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful, probably the best staff I've come across. A negative would be Greene King itself, the toiletries are very stingy, toilet paper poor quality, breakfast options poor- no continental put out you had to request orange juice extra, no sauce condiments on table got the overall feeling that stringent controls were put in place

The mezzanine bathroom in our room made a very pleasant layout. the pub/hotel were friendly atmosphere

We stayed here for two nights for a family wedding and loved it. An olde worlde pub with a restaurant and rooms it is cosy, welcoming and full of character. Our room was spacious and well maintained and cleaned. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cooked and cold items and the evening meal we are there was also excellent. The real winner for us though was the staff who, despite being kept really busy, were unfailingly efficient, courteous, friendly and welcoming. Plus the beer was good. We were so taken with this place, the friendly staff and the beautiful surroundings we're planning a longer trip back. Highly recommended.

Lovely building, very nice place to stay. Staff were a little frazzled running restaurant as well, but great place with some character, much nicer than standard budget hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff. Freshly cooked breakfast. Nice evening meals. Small but comfortable room. Very close to bus stops for visits to Oxford, Banbury etc.

Great pub. Great menu. Good food options for intolerances. Very nice bathroom and modern rooms, which is great! Nice staff and very kind, helping with my bag. BUT the wifi is unbelievably bad. A colleague had to delay coming to stay at home to download a few documents. Also the chef cooked regular cheese in my meal when I told them I have an allergy. I was halted halfway through eating with shouts to stop... not good!

Excellent given the lack of staff. Ollie and the Manager/chef were exceptional.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and a good voice of menu with super service. Breakfast was also a treat, we would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and we will certainly plan another visit at some point!
