Woolpack Inn Beckington by Greene King Inns

A really pleasant stay for me and my partner . The staff were excellent and very helpful. Thank-you for the lovely stay.

We arrived at The Woolpack on a cold afternoon, so it was nice to walk into a bright, warm environment. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, this continued for our whole stay. The food served was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. Our room and bathroom definitely needs some TLC and updating. We did have a lot of noise coming from the corridor door shutting. This did interrupt our sleep. Even though the pub is on a road junction, we didn’t really hear much traffic noise.

A really welcoming place for us. No issues with us getting there quite late. Helpful with dietary requirements. Breakfast great. Really nice old traditional feel to the whole place. One gripe... I had a twin room... both beds felt like they had gone a long way past their useful life. Like the mattress was on top of a partially collapsed frame That was unfortunate in an otherwise really good place.

A fine well kept English inn in a well placed position.It had good friendly atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming. A good place to stay.

Staff excellent, the place looks tired and needs an all round update, but we still enjoyed our stay.

Service was excellent and very friendly....room had no view...headboard on bed was very worn...not enough sugar and milk in room....needed a fan for air conditioning as very hot even with windows open...towel in bathroom was already used but there was other fresh ones available...

Staff brilliant, food good, bathroom was a bit tired and shower was small so if you stay and you are tall don't have the rooms on the top floor! Overall a very pleasant stay
