Could have been more staff at breakfast

Location, next to the Abbey. Friendly staff, especially the breakfast server. Good choice of breakfast items. Room basic,kept clean.

Breakfast sausage (a bit industrial) hash brown soggy. If you don't like dogs (5 to 6 staying in the same part of the hotel as we were), then check before booking.

Bedroom and shower

Lots of stairs

Conveniently situated. Well priced. Good evening meal and breakfast.

Bathroom needs updating. Flooring very noisy.

The room was lovely The inn had parking and food pub food

The bathroom was quite old, and the staircases that lead to the rooms smell

The food was the saver for this stay or all the scores would be 1

Room 27 sewage odour coming from toilet pan The toilet seat the usual horse shoe and the toilet pan was circular The furniture was so old it creeked on its own The bed mattress had a wire that you could not lie on

We have stayed at this hotel before, so we knew what to expect. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Our evening meal was OK, but the breakfasts here are exceptionally good. Staff were polite and friendly.

The decor in the rooms is tired, and the wash basin in our room was cracked and chipped, although still usable.
