Lovely country inn set close to the Ashdown Forest. Greene king pub, great food and drinks. Lovely rooms to stay. Friendly staff.

Lovely location, lovely staff very clean. Good food. Very comfy bed.

Very tired bathroom definitely needs replacing. We couldn't get the shower to work, both of us tried. It was very hot last night and I really needed a shower but had to wait until I got home. I reported this to reception as we checked out and was told we have never had this before. However as I pointed out to her, I read a review on TripAdvisor who reported the same. It is such a shame this place could be amazing it just needs some care and attention.

The staff are excellent, and the location is also excellent.

The building is starting to look a bit in need of a major makeover. And the pillows were rock hard.
