Obsługa była niemiła, niechętna do udzielania odpowiedzi na pytania . Możliwość zjedzenia śniadania tyko pomiędzy 7 a 9 rano, pomimo że jest odpłatne, a pokój należy opuścić do 11.00. Totalnie bez sensu . Mam wstać rano zjeść śniadanie i wrócić na drzemkę? Stan pokoju fatalny . Tynk gnije i odpada. Poobijane drzwi i framugi. Rozmowa telefoniczna z robotem . Sugerując się zdjęciami myślałam, że moi goście z USA będą zachwyceni . Stary piękny budynek . Ładny wystrój restauracji i oczywiście pięknym ogrodem . Po prostu zachwyt murowany ...niestety nie . Do plusów należy położenie ,łatwość dojazdu, i parking . Ja na pewno tam nie wrócę!!!

Easy parking, comfy room and great on-site restaurant with spacious beer garden. Twin room was comfortable and great water pressure in shower.

Cleanliness could have been better - there were some items that weren’t ours at the bottom of the wardrobe. Mattresses not enormously supportive but fine for a short stay.

Nice looking place and rooms were spacious

Room was very noisy from the main road even through the night and starting early in the morning. They had a very limited evening menu with lots of items off the menu. Breakfast was appalling - told us on arrival there would be continental breakfast - all yoghurt was gone, only 2 slices of white bread in tray and 2 very sad pastries. I asked for more pastries but was told by quite a grumpy staff person that she had to wait for oven to warm up before they could cook any more and no idea of how long the wait, I asked for any other bread options for toast and she said no only had white bread and reluctantly went off to get some more slices and then disappeared back into the kitchen. Only had a Luke warm coffee and a bowl of cereal and then gave up waiting.

Very poor, cooked breakfast was not available and the continental breakfast was sparse there was toast but the jam ran out, muffins that were dry, no fruit, it had run out, no musli no pastries, cold meat or cheese, no cold water

There could have been cold water, pastries, cold meat and cheese. The jam and fruit could have been replenished The gentleman running the service was heard to remark that’s 3 loaves, no surprise as there was little else to eat!

The evening meal was nice portions size .bed was ok ..the surroundings

The location was lovely but very rural when say its near chipping old sobury .there was no cooked breakfast and continental if you call tea ,toast and coffee. Some of staff wernt very attentive when offered a voucher reluctantly to cover costs of breakfast. They certain things off the menu

Not much but the dinner and breakfast we purchased were fine.

Well, we arrived and there was no one on reception, so we rang the bell and waited but no-one came, so we went into the bar area and asked about checking in to be told to go back to reception and ring the bell again and someone would come. We did this again and again we waited and waited and waited. No one came so we decided to go off and do something and try again later. Later, we tried again and same thing happened absolutely nothing. We went back to the bar and they came and knocked on a door and lo and behold out came the manager (he didn't apologise, he didn't look like a manager and all in all it gave a poor first impression. In the one room the decor was filthy and the bed was broken - evident to anyone stepping in to the room. But what was really annoying was that in both rooms - booked for double occupancy - there was only one hand and one bath towel so off we went to reception and despite ringing the bell and banging on the door no one came so we had no choice but to share the towel - not satisfactory and certainly would want to do this if we had not been partners. We got the impression no one manned reception as they wouldn't want to deal with the complaints. In the morning we were served breakfast but the lady taking the orders must dislike her job, she was very surly and short with us.

There had been a fire in the kitchen so we were warned that breakfast would be continental only. On arrival we found the corridor leading away from the bar to the rooms had an awful smell, luckily not as far as our room. This smell persisted throughout our stay. The room was ok a bit neglected in places (the boards against the bath had got soaked and broken up). Service in the bar area was slow and I got the impression the staff were under pressure. The continental breakfast was fine for our first morning. The second morning , a cooked breakfast was again available so we ordered this. We regretted this decision, over 45 minutes wait, the staff started clearing the breakfast items and tea before our breakfast arrived and we were served solid egg yolks, which had obviously been cooked for far too long.

Not a lot. The rooms were clean thats all.

Very few staff trying to do too many jobs at once. Tables left uncleared both in and ourside. Had to wait at bar as only staff was checking people in. When we booked told no cooked breakfast next day but were serving throughout day before. Rooms very dark and dated window frames needed replacing. Noisy due to main road. Following morning the continental breakfast had mostly gone by 9 am. Had to wait for replacements even hot water for tea. One man on duty stated he did everything. Would not stay again not worth the money.
