Old Manse Hotel Bourton by Greene King Inns

Tired. Needs upgrading. Room dingy and small. Bathroom far too small.

Just had a weekend away with friends. From the moment we arrived until we left we were welcomed by all of the staff, the service was second to none and all were a credit to the pub. Our room was large and comfortable, the only minor issues were the creaky floors (very old building and dependant on the guests on the floor above), the kitchen ducting (came on about 07:30) and the shower wasn't the best. The location is brilliant, everything was within walking distance. There's a really nice bakery just across the road plus a small supermarket nearby for supplies. The carpark is tight with limited spaces, albeit only one of the seven cars in our group couldn't find a space. The compromise was to park at the British Legion until 6pm for £3 (honesty box) and then move the car to the free parking opposite overnight. A bit of a faff but it did the job. We booked B & B, good selection of cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and pastries plus unlimited tea and coffee. Again great service. We'd booked a table for the evenings and were asked to pre order which wasn't an issue. The food was great, a varied menu and both evenings the food was piping hot. Well done to everyone at the Old Manse for contributing to a very enjoyable break.

Rooms need update but are in keeping with the hotel that fits well within the location, staff very helpful and friendly and breakfast was excellent which covered all requirements, loverly location which offers the option of eating in the hotel or at the many restaurant’s within walking distance, no hesitation in recommending the hotel for an enjoyable stay.

Amazing place and location. Breakfast its great so many selection and unlimited coffee and tea, fresh fruit. The room are perfect for 2 night stay. Staff is friendly and they always happy to help. Ricardo and liberty was the serves on breakfast when they were brilliant. I will return

Nice spacious room, excellent attentive staff, value for money food. Good location in the centre of the town. The only down side is a very small car park, but lots of public parking available but of course you may have to pay for the public parking.

The beds was very comfortable, staff was brilliant and helpful, special thanks to teagan and Grace, really nice girls worked very hard and brilliant service, clean and comfy rooms, will definitely come back and recommend to other people that want to stay in bourton

amazing room and bed i slept sp comfortable and the hotel it is old but is part of the history of bourton, recommend book for food as they got really busy. I will be back for sure and explore more the trails and the beauties of bourton on the water .

Great stay and service, staff was lovely welcoming. Food was amazing and smelled soooooo gooooood. The hotel is old but great location giving the best experience. Anything you could expect from 3 star hotel with the best location ever. I will come back
