Great location and the staff were so friendly and helpful

Terrible experience, really bad service We sat in a restaurant on a busy day, no one told us we had to wait at least 45 minutes, so we waited 40 minutes, an angry waiter said it was a busy day and that's how it is, the place itself is not clean, not up to scratch

Shower freezing or boiling hot and shower gead holder broke

Visited for Sunday lunch. Shown to a nice table where our dog could lie down. Good food, good wine and beer and plenty of treats for the dog. Lovely way to spent a Sunday afternoon in nice setting. Bourton on the water is a great dog friendly place and the Old Manse is definitely worth a visit

I came here with my family for a bite to eat, we got served by lau he was brilliant and freindly with excellent service from him, would definitely recommend, the food was amazing too, the veiw was lovely we sat in the front garden by the river wich made the atmosphere great.

Nice pub and delicious food, every dish was perfectly prepared and beautiful presented, the staff are lovely, thank you Lau. Will be back to visit you guys every weekend,I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant service made better by lau great experience l I’ll be back just to see lau what a great guy. Nice beer and even better ice cream what is great in this weather. Dog friend and even have water and drinks for my little dog which put a smile on his face

Great location and good food, sensibly priced

Excellent meal and drinks. Selection of food was very good and well presented. Great value for money and Jayne and Millie were very attentive staff. Food tasted amazing and well presented can’t wait to come back again in the future. Thank you

Pros: Lovely cottage if you're looking for a quaint, cozy, inn experience. Cottage was clean and neat (except for the carpeting). Perfectly located, right in the town centre. Food was awesome, prepared well & tasty, lots of options. Hostesses/waitresses were very attentive, accomodating & helpful. Cons: Carpeting was obviously old, worn and stained (really needs to be removed). No refrigerator in the room. Upon check-in I wasnt told that the restaurant would not be open to non-guests for breakfast and that there is a back door through which I should enter. This very little but important detail seems to be overlooked for guests who aren't staying in the main building. This, therefore, had me walking around the building trying to figure out how to get to breakfast, until I saw another guest exiting through said door.
