Old Manse Hotel Bourton by Greene King Inns

A great pub stay hotel. Food was great, breakfast included, and was very quiet. Position right in the town excellent. Highly recommend this pub.

Great location and really lovely staff but the hotel rooms were at best shabby and not terribly clean and at worst simply horrible The pub was nice and decorated pleasingly and the food was good Could be a great place if they do something with the bedrooms and bathrooms Would not recommend as a place to stay

Called in today for bruuch at my favourite pub in BOTW. Lovely friendly staff, great value food (especially the sausage cobs), and very dog friendly. Our Golden Retriever was made most welcome. A special shout out to the hard-working bar staff. We are locals and always try to make time to visit The Old Manse Hotel.

Room was dirty, after reporting shower was not operating, nothing was done. The hotel needs the rooms painting, new carpets, and stop hiding behind its an old building. Breakfast should have been included in the price of the room not pay extra for breakfast, it was not cheap to stay there.

We took one look at the toilets and left as quick as we possibly could...We were looking for somewhere nice to eat in this lovely village and always judge the cleanliness of the toilets in relation to the cleanliness of the kitchen and we were very shocked and disgusted, so promptly left not even finishing our drinks. The Abbot Ale was slightly cloudy, not at all bright and although it tasted ok, it was a very negative experience.

Due to the age of the building the decor is due updating and carpets replacing but the owners are aware. Food and service was brilliant

Room was very outdated and appeared to need a deep clean and a refurbishment, The stair and corridor was very worn and had an old dirty smell about it. I personally will not stay here again

We had an incredible 3 night stay. Our room, the service, the food, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be returning in the future

Dirty small room. Arrived to a tiny car park, which was full and no where to park. Another guest came out and asked if we were staying at the hotel. We said yes, and the person said ‘I would stay somewhere else’ and walked off. We went into the pub and asked where we could park, one of the staff said ‘park on double yellow lines nearby, you’ll only get fined after 10am.’ Went up to see the room, last straw, it was small and dirty. We decided we couldn’t stay and left. Hotel staff wouldn’t refund any money when we requested compensation, although we never spent more than 5 minutes in the room. Looked like a nice area, pity about this hotel.
