Old Manse Hotel Bourton by Greene King Inns

The day we got there,someone was still in our bed asleep,staff knew who she was,we had to wait until tgey could get her out,knob on wardrobe door stuck on with blu tack,so couldn't open it as kept coming off in hand, room was not cleaned every day and dirty glasses left in room,the hotel was run very poorly, I've been staying there for years and it's changed hands so many times,but who is running it now is not doing z good job,I will not be returning to old manse, we paid out lot of money for tge top room ,where they couldn't put a solid knob on wardrobe or clean tge room,we are in future going to hire a holiday cottage in bourton on the water

Fabulous family reunion

Room was terrible. However, staff and breakfast were fantastic. Area was beautiful.

The staff are lovely, work hard and very accommodating and friendly. Food very good and reasonably priced. Location perfect. Mmmm sadly everywhere needs decorating and new carpet, bedrooms very tired and in desperate need of upgrade. Carpets are awful and deco. Toilet takes ages to flush and although a very old building the stairs and floors are extremely creaky. Room 6 on first floor is not laid out to best of its potential. Definitely not worth £130 per night!! Shame because everything else is lovely. Well done to the staff for making the experience great though.

The hotel is in the perfect area to explore Bourton. Staff was very good and the dinners we had in the hotel were very enjoyable

Amazing pub, old but with carácter. Staff friendly and the food was top notch I will be back and enjoy few lilleys cider on the front garden

The room was very small and not well maintained there was damp in the bathroom severe condensation on the windows and a feel of being neglected. The shower was luke warm and although I reported it, it did not improve. Breakfast was of a poor standard. The location was great and area lovely but let down by the hotel

Took a punt and it paid off however the cheeseburger I had did have grit / bone in it! Did I complain nope no point just paid and walked. Tbh burger looked awesome but pate itself was tasteless not great. Only had two Madri as it was lovely coupled with a coke.

We managed to get a room for the night as we decided we wanted to stay. We enjoyed the food, and sitting in the front garden with the beautiful views. Jamie, the lady that sorted our room was so lovely, and we experienced amazing customer service from her, also the other members of the team, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was comfy, room tidy and clean and the breakfast was delicious! Would 100% stay again! Thank you

Absolutely fantastic food, amazing service. Our waiter Lau was very helpful, kind and the service he provided was fast and sublime. We had Mains, Pudding and drinks, all came within 15 minutes within ordering and was delicious 10/10 Would recommend!
