Kings Arms Hotel by Greene King Inns

It was conviently located, host was very welcoming and friendly.

Room was located on second floor, not very accessible! The whole building especially the room and bathroom were in URGENT need of refurbishment and redecoration. No toiletries provided except a handwash and shower gel attached to the wall. Hospitality tray very poor, would have expected at least a biscuit. Television was mounted on the wall so it couldn't be viewed from the sofa.

We had difficulty turning taps on and off which we mentioned on leaving. The hotel is dated but staff said the hotel is going to be refurbished soon

Room was at best shabby and at worst dilapidated. Water stains and plaster coming away from walls and ceiling. Bathroom was no better. Missing tops to taps, mold around the window.

Very pleased with my stay here. A last minute booking as I only decided to drive to Kent late in the afternoon. Later arrival wasn't a problem. Good choice of drinks in the bar to relax after long drive. Good choice for items for breakfast. The Hotel was only a couple of miles form where I wanted to be that morning, meaning I had a relaxed start to the day.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - a pleasure to deal with. I gather the building is to be renovated next month, which is needed, and is worth the trouble

Shame that there was no IPA when we were there. IPA was one reason for looking no further when booking. Lighting in the room was DIRE
