Staff were extremely kind to me during a recent stay. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable when I was distressed, and were exceptional. Thank you so much!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly work very hard to make guests feel welcome. Their excellent service really made the stay enjoyable. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for us.

The rooms are tired and in need of redecoration. Our bedroom was quite dark as there was no central light, the bathroom sink was blocked, and the TV was very small. There was also a quiz night during our stay, and the noise was extremely loud from the bedroom, which made it difficult to relax. With some refurbishment and attention to maintenance, this could be a much better experience.

The breakfast was fairly good.

The whole hotel definitely needs some renovations carried out on it . Painting and decorating a must !!!

Very nice, typical pub type hotel. Creaky stairs and cute niches. The bar has a good restaurant (although there is no shortage of eateries in Westerham). The village is one of those typical English country locations, but you are, in fact, only minutes to major motorway communication. Very handy. Breakfast was good with options to have English breakfast etc. Parking is in the car park to the rear. Park and then register at reception. Very easy and handy.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was huge with a 4 poster bed.

Shower only a trickle so we couldn't use it. I understand a refurb is due to start shortly.

Exceptional staff - off duty receptionist went out of her way to help when I was late for my check in and a bit lost. Thank you also to the receptionist whose evening I interrupted when she let me in. Had a great night's sleep, really spacious room and ensuite. Only downside is that due to being right on the main street there are inevitable car noises. It is an old building so the floors are creaky, too.
