Kings Arms Hotel by Greene King Inns

Clean and comfortable, powerful shower, towels supplied, plus iron, ironing table and fan, tea and coffee. Good value for money.

Room was near the fire doors, quite a lot of activity, banging of doors until approx 4am, although probably because World Cup is on. Old building, windows quite heavy/awkward to open with secondary glazing.

Bedroom was so hot but hey they can’t control the weather, although the windows were difficult to open with security locks and the air con was crap

It was conviently located, host was very welcoming and friendly.

Room was located on second floor, not very accessible! The whole building especially the room and bathroom were in URGENT need of refurbishment and redecoration. No toiletries provided except a handwash and shower gel attached to the wall. Hospitality tray very poor, would have expected at least a biscuit. Television was mounted on the wall so it couldn't be viewed from the sofa.

Lovely meals . Beds very comfortable in a big room.

We had difficulty turning taps on and off which we mentioned on leaving. The hotel is dated but staff said the hotel is going to be refurbished soon

The bed was comfortable

Room was at best shabby and at worst dilapidated. Water stains and plaster coming away from walls and ceiling. Bathroom was no better. Missing tops to taps, mold around the window.
