Ryde Castle Hotel by Greene King Inns

When we booked we selected this hotel as it had parking and a lift as I have mobility issues when we arrived we were told the lift only went to the first floor and our room was on the 2nd floor. Room small but well furnished comfortable bed, nice walk in shower. Breakfast choice good and generous quantity only down side was the hot water in a flask left for tea which made a poor quality cuppa. Food well priced in bar we ate the first night and enjoyed the food.

Very conveniently located near the port/train station/bus station. Room was very comfortable with windows on 3 out of the 4 walls but everything looked worn and well used. Some cobwebs could be found on the ceiling. Bathroom was spotless cleanl and everything worked as it should. Not sure about the bathtub being separate from the shower and the lack of drainage on the floor for the overspill but that's a very minor thing. The only thing not working as advertised was the WiFi connection. Neither myself or my girlfriend managed to connect during our stay there. We briefly managed to get to the registration page but only in the pub. Breakfast was good quality and quantity wise and reasonably priced. Coffee was a disappointment though.

It’s was amazing to be part of venue of international Scooter Rally held at Ryd Castle. They all were very friendly and making sure everything was accommodated to the level except and beyond. We had absolutely amazing time location on the right spot for information, transportation, restaurant, shops venues and many more. The food and drinks were stunning we are looking forward to come back soon and we highly recommend to be visited and stay.

This place is so tired and so overpriced. We unfortunately had a room that overlooked the front of the hotel, it was also the outside space for the garden eating and drinking and the smoking area. The noise was deaf

Staff very friendly and helpful, cleanliness excellent, but our room had water stains on the ceiling and walls, the hotel needs decorating but our stay was great we would stay at this hotel again.

Excellent rooms, lovely bathroom, t v could be bigger, but ok for evening, Great evening meal, fantastic full English breakfast, Would really recommend this place, best on IOW so far!!

Very nice go a gain

Right on the front near the bus station with a bit of an uphill walk to the centre with pubs and restaurants. Plenty of easy parking. Excellent room and breakfast. Would certainly stay again. Very helpful staff. The only little complaint was lack of tea etc in the room. OK if you like Earl Grey without much milk!!
