Commodore Hotel Bournemouth by Greene King Inns

Our room was lovely with plenty of space

There is limited choice for hotels in this part of town and this one was ideally located for what we needed. It's exactly as expected for a seaside hotel. Great location, great views, excellent staff and a good breakfast. The decor looks a little tired, especially the bathroom and the hot water pressure in the bathroom makes the shower somewhat disappointing. We will use again simply becauseof the location.

Some areas smelt of dogs although there were signs asking dog owners to use separate door this was not monitored so dogs all over not very nice

Location is perfect and rooms are clean and modern enough. Food very disappointing so best to go into the larger towns

Parking free, however not many spaces immediately outside hotel but plenty on main road, room was small and looked nothing like images advertised however bed comfy, room clean, flooring very creaky & doors slam making very loud noise even when you try to close quietly, food menu very good and food well presented however lots of listed dishes unavailable, breakfast very small, and price paid for room excessive for what was given

We had a trip down to Bournemouth and wanted a suitable hotel for families near the beach. This ticked all the boxes. Friendly welcome with a nice clean large family room. We dined in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast couldn’t fault the service, very friendly and efficient

The room had a nice view of the beach, it was a short walk from Bournemouth Pier, about a mile. The staff were friendly, although we were near the main road, we didn’t hear any traffic. If you want a comfortable nights stay in a central location, I would highly recommend this hotel, there’s also plenty of free parking in the area which is a bonus

needed more drawers, a little fridge would have made the room perfect

room was very clean and quiet. Unfortunately one of the window has been badly fitted and let cold and traffic noise out. And although the wifi was good in the restaurant and bar, it was patchy in my particualr room. the food and service were brilliant

I appreciate this is a budget hotel, but creaking floorboards are appalling and very dusty bringing my allergies out, unpleasant lingering smell around all corridors, not enough parking now they have made the car park a seating area. Lovely area to stay, but definitely never staying in this hotel again!
