Commodore Hotel Bournemouth by Greene King Inns

The room was ok, very basic but clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom was ok, manky shower curtain but other than that it was clean. Just quite overpriced really. Expedia lists this hotel as having parking; it doesn't, there is free street parking nearby.

Lovely location by the beach and views of the sea. Booked the family room. The room was tired. Broken spot lights in the bathroom, broken tiles, paint pealing off the walls, Very firm beds and extremely noisy floor boards. Staff in the pub restaurant were very helpful. Food was average.

Visiting family and needed a family/twin room that met our limited budgets but met our standards of cleanliness, service and comfort and the Commodore Hotel was all that plus more. Excellent and would stay again and recommend.

THE BEDROOMS COULD DO WITH UPDATING, DIDNT LIKE THE SINK IN THE BATHROOM AND NOT IN THE ENSUITE

This place is great value for money. As with many older establishments you can always find things to make negative comments about but over all our four nights here were spot on.

We enjoyed our stay in. lovely room with a view despite the poor weather.

Just looking for a short break with my wife. Staff were very helpful. Our room had wonderful views. The food was very reasonably priced with a variety of choices. This was real value for money at this time of year. Well done The Commodore!

The property is in a lovely place with views of the sea, from groundfloor in the pub and restaurant to upstairs! Short walk, across the road, to cliff and paths down to beach! The independent shops and buses of Southbourne are short walk away too! The staff are always happy and helpful if you need it! The food is very good too, as well as choice for breakfast!!

We booked with you for a sea view double room when we booked in the hotel said they didn’t have one and that I was the 2nd one that week that had booked a sea view but didn’t get one. The room we were put in had a problem there was no heating the towel rail didn’t heat the extractor fan didn’t work and the shower left a lot to be desired. They gave us a oil filled Radiator to help but was not good. The hotel looked very tired and breakfast was not very well cooked. All in all bad stay. Engineer turned up to look at the problem as we left.
