Beautiful old coach house with original features.
It was adequate for my needs during a one-night-stay but the small room was very warm, so opening the widow resulted in me being woken throughout the night as lorries trundled past.
In general I like the hotel, however this time there was no hot water in the morning so had to have a cold shower. Also we have had some nice warm weather, but hard to sleep as the towel rail is that hot it warms everything else as well and you don't seem to be able to turn it off.
The property was well situated for our visit to Silverstone. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overnight stay just after lockdown lifted. The staff were super-friendly and could not be more helpful. Room was very clean and in good condition. Sound did travel through the walls a little though.

On the hottest weekend of the year, the room i was given was up in the roof and it was almost unbearable. The lady at Reception did warn me "its warm up there" on checking in. Happily, the room had a fan, otherwise i would have slept in my car! On the last set of steep stairs up, you could literally feel the increase in heat. I ended up sick my first night. I did try the restaurant downstairs the next night. I waited so long for service that in the end i moved tables and eventually collared someone. It was dearer than my stay elsewhere the weekend before, but im not sure why, although the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice The location was convenient, and the parking was good. Had i been in a double room, i might have been better.
