It was really easy to book a table for an evening meal. The staff accomodated Gluten-free meal requests. The staff were really friendly and Kasey worked incredibly hard during the evening meal service. Parking is available. The property is very central and Marlborough is a quaint town to walk around.

The floorboards are very noisy and any walking movements from the floors above could be heard easily, but only to be expected given the age of the property. I only just managed to get a car parking space.

The food in the restaurant! Frozen fish, frozen chips, frozen scampi. Tartare sauce from a jar and mushy peas from a can. It’s expensive. I could have walked across the road to Waitrose and purchased a better quality pre made meal. Terrible food. You could do so much better.

I love this hotel - great location and great value for money

It needs a big refurb but it’s tired state is reflected in the price so that’s fine
