The Coleshill by Greene King Inns

Breakfast selection was poor and they didn't have coffee at the ready during breakfast time one of the days. Parking was crowded and had to park on the streets one of the nights. Room was too hot with no way to lower the temperature, could barely sleep.

It’s in a good location if travelling to Birmingham airport. Lady that checked us in was very friendly and they had thought to put an electric fan on in our very hot room. The bed was huge and comfortable.

The bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade and no toiletries were offered at all not even a bottle of shower gel. The room was incredibly hot as only a small window and no air conditioning.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food both in the bar and breakfast. Very comfortable bed and good shower.

Room was quaint, it had character. Food was lovely. Staff were lovely. Band was great. Can't fault anything about the venue itself. Nice little town too.

We were told the band were playing until 11pm. They played until around 11:30-11:45, then quite a crowd of people were standing around outside, shouting and arguing, and there was a bit of a punch-up. Not the pub's fault, but the hotel next door had doormen, which solved the problem for them. The main protagonist appeared to have an issue with "Phil". Because it was a hot night, we had the windows open, so we were kept awake by the gathering even though it was across the road. All of this said, we'd stay there again, we'll just avoid nights when there's a band on.

All very good for our flight from Birmingham/airport we had a meal a not ground breaking but fine
