Old but not tired, great location and great value.

Value for money bathroom needs up dating bedroom was lovely size .bed was really comfy .and a var downstairs

A little noisy outside as we were above the entrance door but didn't put us off

Location and friendly staff

Lovely big room. Spacious. Comfortable. Hotel receptionist was really friendly and welcoming. Good location albeit opposite a pub which was quite noisy. Restaurant downstairs which had a big selection of food on the menu.

There was quite a bit of mould in the bathroom - along the tiles and window. No soap / hand wash by the basin or teaspoon for coffees. We ate in the restaurant and all our food was cold. We did order 5 minutes before closing though so maybe they had just had enough by then!

Pleasant staff. Close to NEC

No air conditioning. Noisy Karaoke made the room vibrate until after 11pm. No sound insulation in rooms so traffic/party noise from outside too loud.

Fabulous location and a beautiful period building. Staff couldn't have been more helpful

Parking a bit tight during peak hours

We stayed in the rooms across from the main building. It was cool in the warm weather and the bed was comfy.

Area is between 2 pubs and extremely loud Friday/Saturday , awful but it did stop at 11pm. Shower stops if you flush the toilet takes a while to get going again. If going to NEC breakfast doesn’t have an early enough start, for us anyway, as we couldn’t get close disabled parking.

Breakfast was okay. Staff were nice.

Room was in the ‘cottage’ next door. Ensure you don’t book if you are tall or want any decent sleep. It overlooks the pub garden which you can see from sitting on the toilet., which is wobbly. Situated between 2 very loud pubs until 11pm not good for an early start.
